You'd think the local authorities would be curious to see what's in the freezer. They might be shocked to find out that it was his hairy father-in-law that he murdered and stuffed in the freezer. That murder might never be solved because people just didn't believe the outlandish claims.
Shane, if you don't mind me asking, has an ATP ever come out and readjusted your chair? I'm an ATP and have been in the industry for 26 years now. I usually try to come out as many times as it takes til my customers are comfortable in their new chair. I know that sometimes it can be a simple adjustment and sometimes a bit more complex. For wheelchair users, sometimes the slightest adjustment, even just millimeters, can make the biggest difference. Please contact me if I can make any suggestions. I'd be glad to help. I actually remember seeing this as a kid, back in the 70's. It was setup in our Mall. You stood in line, walked up into a little booth about the size of a gazebo with a raised walkway around the inside, with the coffin length freezer on one side, with a glass top. It did look like a frozen bigfoot, kindof like the Wooly Mammoths they pull out of the ice in Siberia these days.
When I first started listening I felt like maybe it was a little bit of a slow tempo for me. Then I realized that it was me who had to slow down and appreciate the podcast in everything it has to offer. Now I look forward to it!

I am also disabled and there were a lot of people that told me (or behind my back) that I wasn’t going to get married!! I am happy to say I have been married for 9 years and have a wonderful husband. He pushes me in my manual wheelchair when we go somewhere outside and I use an electric wheelchair in the house. I can walk a little but not very far. I think people make up crap about your relationship because they can’t understand why a healthy person would want to married someone disabled. Well I am another example of finding someone who doesn’t care I am disabled!!!😊😊😊
Hanna have you ever heard about the farmer who lived on the Iowa/Minnesota border who never knowing which state he lived in? 🫣Eventually surveyors came out and finally determined that the farmer was actually living in Iowa. I had to make the leap from my Amy Systems Rear wheel hybrid to an M5 Permo mid wheel. Best choice I made. I will say using a hybrid chair got me used to the mid wheel drive and made the transition easier.

As a biologist, I have never even seen a 10ft freezer to fit the iceman. Plus how much would this weigh, and how did they keep the ice clear. Soooooo many questions lol 🤔🇬🇧
People will never understand how it feels to sit still all day and not be able to shift there weight to relieve pressure, chafe position, off load weight when uncomfortable, unless they are placed in a position where they can’t do those things on their own. It’s part of our lives we take of. I work in a nursing home where people get out of bed at breakfast and sit in w/c’s, specialty chairs, recliners chairs etc. When the complain about how uncomfortable the chair is As an Occupational therapist it’s my job to address their complaints. After 27 years of doing this I continue to keep my compassion. I will adjust leg rests, head rerr see ya, arm rests, cushions every day. No one can sit is the same position for hours on end and be comfortable. Then you call in the DME company who measures every angle of your bro customize a chair, but the day you get the chair nothing feels right. I feel for you Shane!!!!
