I rode El Toro 6 days before the accident 8 times. I rank it as my #1 out of 111 coasters at this current time. My advice to Six Flags is to fix the ride and do it right! Otherwise, I will be forced to go to Michigan's Adventure more often for Shivering Timbers, and thus that would be the better park in my book.

Easily the best coaster at the park. I have been on king da ka, but the only time I was genuinely scared riding a coaster was my first time on this ride. It's so intense, and you get crazy airtime! Backseat of this ride is just amazing

This ride is pure insanity. My son went on it 4 times. I can be impressed by it while still absolutely hating it, because it’s not my kind of coaster (my son begged me to do it with him the first time, so I did). I thought I could muscle through it, and it wouldn’t be that bad. Looks are deceiving. This is not a typical wooden coaster. Good grief. It is super high and sure fast. Really don’t take little kids under 8 on this no matter how tall they are imo. It’s too intense! But for everyone else that likes drops and lots of negative Gs, I’m sure it’s a blast.
My little sister is 8 years old and she went on it and was amazed, I'm almost 11 years old and when I got on it I thought, best coaster I ridden, it's so intense and filled with airtime
My 9 year old son wanted to ride it, but when I told him how intense it was he backed out. I was kind of glad he did, because I don't think he would be able to handle it. I am an experienced coaster rider and can barely handle it lol
On the way to great adventure to ride it for the first time it didn't look too steep. I already know that it is a 76 degree angle drop but when I got on it for the first time it was steep
What a beast. This had the honor of being my 30th coaster credit (with Jersey Devil 31st, Kingda Ka 32nd, Joker 33rd, and Green Stand-Up Mind Eraser- ... ahem, Green Lantern 34th).
For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.
It's a great ride, but I have to say I much prefer nitro over this ride, el Toro is just to rough and you get a crap ton of whiplash, it's a good ride to go on once or twice.

The most exhilarating coaster in the park. Warning, it throws ya around a bit. We rode this before Kingda Ka, which felt like a stroll in the park compared to this.
I loved it! Never knew how steep that 1st drop was until I got to the top of the chain lift? When we were ready to drop? I leaned forward and fell with the train. For those who was not yet use to big drop was? After this one it was a learned lesson!

el toro and nitro is the best. I got stuck at the end of the chain hill and they rolled us back cause someone's hoodie was on the track -- usually 12-3p on a really hot day the ride has issues then reopens by like 4-5 -_-
The first drop knocked the wind out of me. But it wasn’t until the near end of the first hill that I regretted it, and started praying to Jesus (literally.) overall 2 weeks later there was a accident with cart #6 and its wheel I’m pretty sure. But even then, it’s my first coaster with good air time. My next is going to be blizzard and nitro! 😊

I find it somewhat hilarious that the park’s official video is one where you can easily tell they’ve got a bearing(s) going out on one of the cars. Listen to the buzz on every airtime. That’s a wheel bearing going into slip and vibrating due to wear.
this is actually not the wheel slipping, this is one of 3 wooden coasters of this model(intamin prefab) and they have such intense airtime that the wheel on the top of the track separates from the track and keeps rolling but the upstop wheels(under the track) make the noise

my friend got a the biggest bump on his head it looked like a cartoon, he couldnt pick his head up and he hit his head on the handle bar. other than that, this ride was MEANN 😂😂

Fun Fact: The downward slopes on this coaster and many other coasters are much steeper than the cameras will have you believe.

@@JiggingtonSawface I hope it did bc I road it a couple years ago the thing was horrible I liked the airtime but I would always steer clear from el toro because of how rough it is I am planning on riding it again but hopefully it is better
