Cyberconnect2 should make the next Digimon Game and give it a great combat system that makes you feel like your playing as the awesome Digital Monsters.
It's going to be so weird to see Hiro/Analogue Kid (the protag of the first digimon world game, aka. the guy in the yellow jacket and the black beanie) from another protag perspective. It's like looking at your childhood given form. As if your past and present gain physical form to chat to one another. It's cool but strange ^^
I still don't understand why Digimon Stroy Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition wasn't released for PS4... Especially since DSCS was removed from PSN, and doesn't include the improvements.
The game looks cool and I can't wait to play it. But a quick question, what happens when you are right before a big fight and your digimon reverts into an egg?
You train that egg til it gets to rookie level and fight the strongest enemies that you can handle. Digimon kind of rubber band back and forth on power levels, so the younger mon levels a bit faster to catch up to the older one and surpass it
I want a Digimon x Shin Megami Tensei crossover. The way the human characters been lately are giving those SMT vibes, especially in the cyber sleuth series.
I hope there are at least a couple new digimon in this compared to the original, as after 100%ing this game at least 4 separate times, I struggle to find easy mode and a run button a substantial reason to invest in a port of a game I've played thousands of hours in already
If they ever add ExTyrannomon, I am ripping that model from the game. I've already ripped models both from Vita/PS4 when the games were pretty much new

They should just get that sweet Korean PC port and y'know set it up and release it, heck I'm down with simple background/foreground sprite updates with Digimon models replaced with current ones.
This release trailer is awful. It doesn't make me want to buy the game at all. Horrible edit, bland voice over, weak audio mix, and that's aside from clearly flawed talking animations on the character models. I know it's a port of a game released in 2016, but come on Bandai. Only thing about this trailer that makes me want the game is that it actually looks like it runs better than Pokemon Scarlett and Violet!
TBH it's probably good that this is a six-year-old game because that means it'll probably run properly on the switch. Especially with how long they've taken to port it over
