My view is that John Campbell accepted the fines because he was just coming back from a ban and had no interest in going through the courts this time around.
John Campbell didn't get a ban. Think about it the last time Campbell played an ODI in 2019. Campbell gets sanctioned 4 ODIs for an infraction that occurred in a domestic competition. So the sanction is a farce and I agree with Campbell taking it.
Sometimes we need to know when to accept wrong and when to fight. Refier isn't trying to win this argument because he didn't infact disobey the umpires orders but rather on some flimbsy technicality that the team didn't have enough time. Ridiculous. In the case of the didn't have enough time to respond, that makes absolutely no sense. Responding to the charges (I could be wrong) does not mean you have to accept or deny them, one could respond by saying I am seeking advice. If my knowledge serves me correct Boscombe noted that at the time of his statements he has not received a response from Reifer. Not that at the alloted deadline, which suggests that CWI was awaiting the response despite a "deadline" given. And forgive my ignorance... but if I have a charge awaiting my response how, does traveling and catching up family members trump the urgency of me ensuring that I respond to a charge laid on me for something especially of this magnitude? I really do hope that the information not in the public domain can change my mind about this matter because this simply does not look good. However, I sense that this is much more than the actual issue and more of a political swing at CWI executive.

Politricks
Its mistake of wicb so this is good that reifer try to chalange the fine and banned applied from Cwi
That is LAWYER talk and it looks as though Reifers' Attorneys were waiting on CWI to make the first move.
Just take your charge & go
