    Just who doesn't like a lovely, easy and quick to stitch daisy chain? The color way speaks to me of fall, a quiet, earthy time of the year. Thanks, Gina, for sharing this daisy chain variety with us.

    How nice to enjoy a basic pattern. It is sometimes a bit intimidating to find very advanced patterns. This is appreciated. Thank you 😊

    Daisy chain was the very first type of beading I learned (as a kid). It's only been recently, through the university of TH-cam, that I found there are so many variations on this basic stitch. I've seen some with leaves, vines, and alternating flowers that looked quite elegant indeed, and far from the simple version I first knew.

    Miigwetch/thank you for the tutorial🙏🏽☺️ curious~ after you demonstrated this in the video, what did you do with the Daisy chain you made? Were you able to complete it into a finished piece or did you take it apart?

    Do you coat your beads with anything before you use them?
    If so, what with and how?

    • @ORCHIDandOPAL
      @ORCHIDandOPAL  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rachel! No coatings for me. I try to use toho/miyuki duracoat beads whenever possible - they are already coated. Thanks for asking! 💜😁

    I’m new to beading, and jewelry altogether. Can this be done with a stretchy beading thread?

    • @ORCHIDandOPAL
      @ORCHIDandOPAL  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! I wouldn't recommend using stretchy thread because it is so much easier to use the needle and beading thread when making multiple passes through the tiny seed beads. It may also be frustrating to get the tension right. I don't want to discourage you from trying, though - sometimes that's the best way to learn! Welcome to my channel, Connie!! 💜😁

    Hi is there a video to add the both ends of the daisy chain?

    • @ORCHIDandOPAL
      @ORCHIDandOPAL  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not yet, but you could look up instructions for "how to finish a beaded bracelet," for example. I think Potomac Beads has a better beader episode that would provide some ideas in one place. Thanks for watching!
