I was about to order a new printer (as a replacement for my "jammed" Canon TS5320) - but simply taking out the ink cartridges and shaking the printer in all positions did the trick and the printer works again. Thank you, Bilal!

By shaking in all positions, do you mean grabbing iit and shaking it?
