Ride To Happiness absolutely destroys Icon. That's not to say that Icon is bad, it's a good solid coaster that has a nice first half but meanders way too much in it's second half. But Ride To Happiness is something else, insane start with the slow roll out of the station and a crazy layout where you don't even know which way is which at times. Icon is smoother though, but Ride To Happiness is world class coaster whereas Icon is just a good solid one that probably could have been a bit better.
Have a look at getting yourself to Phantasialand to ride Taron and F.L.Y, they'll absolutely blow you away and it's one of the best parks in the world, you'd both love it there.@@PTVlogsUK

So good to see a first time visit to a park. Much the same on our first visit to Plopsa, we kept shouting at the TV go in there, no! But sounds like you did find many other attractions later that you didn't film, quite a drive back for you from Folkestone, in season a stop half way would have been welcome. Brilliant couple of vlogs from your trip, was waiting to hear your shock at food prices but maybe you went prepared, entry is I think pretty reasonable, parking and food isn't!
Yeah, I like to be in the know but also have the element of surprise really... Glad I covered it well... I didn't opt for food as we had McDs the day before and that cost €22! So was savvy about that... I saw how expensive it was, so I can't justify it, when there's other places, especially having breakfast at Ibis... Appreciate your views, glad you've liked them

If you go in the winter the ride is sooo much slower than in the Summer so maybe you should try it in the summer at full speed
