Not many people realize how big the Statue of Liberty is. I remember a couple of visits there, I forget what year my first visit was, guessing it was 1962. I was disappointed that I could not climb to the crown as it was being renovated. I remember there being boards and tools everywhere blocking the stairs. Years later, ahhh, it was done and I climbed up to the walkway around the crownand enjoyed the view of where the Atlantic Ocean and the East River met. Being able to see the muddy green of the East River meet the blue of the Atlantic Ocean made quite an impression on this 18 year old.
I am from the European Union, Romania, I have and I want to say that I like American cities the most, in fact, all of America, you have everything you need, here the relief forms are magnificent

Tokyo’s foreign population is under 4% while NYC is over 37%. NYC is referred to as the financial capital of the world because it is the home of the New York Stock Exchange. It is home to the United Nations. There are many things Tokyo does that is better than NYC but it is far from being a more global city than NYC. It’s not about how great the metro is, by that definition almost any city in China is as global as Tokyo.
