At 7:44 when on the roof you can see where the builder took scraps and pieced 4 pieces of tin roofing where there should only be 1 single sheet as the rest of the roof has, this tells me they were scratching and or being cheap trying to finish the home. Which adds to the question, what else did they scrimp on, it may seem like a none issue, but trust me when you see builders do this in a place as important as your roof... They scrimped elsewhere too!
Excellent Job in showing the Home, however.
I like to see what I am buying. Some off the homes are cheaply built and plastered. And start crumbling.

Yes it is a beautiful fresh appealing inside/ outside just gorgeous , the garden 🪴 and the two car parking shed will make it interesting. Well there is room for growing plants/ garden to feed self if you have too.
Starter homes with so much dazzle that color is mesmerizing for many buyers. Starter homes are designed to keep prices down and if the parents or family members are helpful to the younger to find the path their seeking it works.
Your right I saw the chipping on the top of the wall trim near maids quarters. Is that roof slanted towards the deck. Well I could use that good free rain water for a rooftop garden with plenty of sunlight yes . I like that idea 💡for my own home. Really nice. Now the response the welcoming party from / with the natives , the local communities is the question. The energy almost the people did they get enriched or robbed. I value the unspoken words, I’m watchful the eyeballs. Did the community suffer ? Yes is their envy in the energy of the environment to be aware of for future consequences for my family ? I value humanitarian reasonings for justifying their actions.

Everybody's seeking American standards these people have been building this way for years In most Americans will have problems living in Africa because they're hung up on the American ways And trust me these people aren't gonna change to your way. Most will have a difficult time accepting the fact that every home in Africa is built with Cement block

Yes plot is particularly small even for Rwanda. The community of this home reminds me of townhomes in the US and you would not get much land in those either.

This house had/has potential. I like the use of space for the lot size, but as many have pointed out there are some glaring construction and design issues. That puts the value around $50-$60K US with an additional $30 out of pocket to correct the issues.
What are the issues? Please point them out so I know what to look out for as I'm looking to buy soon.
@@TheAvira123 Read thru the comments, the roof is a mess. The grading of the property is incorrect. The tiles applied to the side of the house are inappropriate material for that application, this house will have mold issues. The roof stairs are installed incorrectly and aren't safe. There a lot of great educational construction videos here in YT. Search for construction videos from similar climates as yours from different parts of the world. You'll learn a lot. Good luck in your home search.

Just came across this vlog.. Nice house, nice design but missing a lot
1. Bedrooms - where are the wardrobes?
2. The kitchen is too small
3. compound space too small
Remember 75,000 USD is a lot money and the house has to make sense.
the outside is pretty but I do not like the interior design. The kitchen is kind of small, the bathrooms are too basics, the outside hallways are a bit weird to me and the electrical cables running on the rooftop are not cute. However, Good JOB too the real estate agent.

The houses ive seen from you are stunning, well designed and provide so much usable space. My concern is for our African parents....seems like all these houses have "helper's quarters" and laundry room. Does this mean Rwandan sons and daughters dont do house chores. I hope not.

property bidding wars has started also in Ghana, just like in america. They list property for $499,000 in FL, but knows when the bidding stops this same property will sale for $700,000. I refuse to getting in a bidding war

Wow! Such a beautiful home! I see that the individuals who constructed the house took care at building the home. The paint job is precise, the tiling and stone work neatly done! Professionals! I wonder where they get the people to do the job. some of the homes I've seen had paint on the woodwork's which cheapened the look of the home. Would love a home of that quality and more! Well, it looks very dark in the house, not enough big windows and it is a like a little apartment. The kitchen, tiny bedrooms no walk in closets, bathrooms have no tubs, everything is so small and no real land. I would definitely pass on this one. Start taking notes from South Africa in how to construct houses inside.

I may say 55k usd because of the finishing and the space. The inside doors are of very low quality. Tye designer should have avoided at any cost the view of these blue iron sheets that we get while on the rooftop... Given the quality of the doors, I seriously doubt the rest of invisible materials
There are houses in the US 2ft apart going for 300k usd in ran down neighborhoods. Americans pay far more for pieces of crap.

If it came on the market at $67k and there has been lots of buyers bidding over the asking price, why are you trying to sell it for $75k, surely you already have offers over that. The price is right for the size.
Camera person keeps focusing on you instead of the house. Also, you're too fast we can't focus on the details. Anyway, house is too overpriced as not all rooms are ensuite, no closets or wardrobes in the bedrooms so storage is limited, very poor kitchen plan(also no cabinetry). Iron sheets on a flat roof tend to leak. Nice ambience at the front though.

It's a Rwanda thing, most don't put closets in houses, even just cheap wardrobes are not there in most houses/so as a tenant you have to bring yours. I don't know why it's like that here.
The lack of built in wardrobes in the rooms kills it all.
But you can add wardrobe anytime, any day without any problem at all.
They add wardrobe in these houses in Africa a lot more than just having big closet like in the West.

Those bedrooms don't have closets....why..? I have noticed that houses in Kenya,, even Tanzania are built with big spacious closets in the bedrooms.
Great question, most homes in Rwanda come with no closets and they are left as an option you can add later at a fee, else when they are added usually the homes price is hiked.
Say what now price would be hiked for just requesting to have closets you are joking there is more room for improvement if you ask me

Because the people in that part of the world have never had a lot of things to put in closets So it's not essential to them
