A Lomeli Method demonstration of making record bases from master casts for complete dentures. This video is made for teaching 2nd year Dental Students in a Pre-Clinical course setting.
Awesome video! I really liked how you fill the border and get your ridge/facial slope depth in the same motion. Thank you for explaining how to roll the frenula areas. I struggled with that.
Great Job Stephanie. Solid technique. Lots o fgreat tips and guidance for the new dentist, lab tech or even experienced dentist like me. I teach this at a dental school here in Florida and I picked up some solid pearls.. Thank August Scialfa
Tony Scialfa thanks for the great feedback! That is great to hear that you were able to pick up a few pearls! Can you share the videos with your class?
Very informative video as always! Question: How do you make a record base for a pt with deep undercuts? If you only place a thin layer of wax blockout won't the record base still lock onto cast because record base material would get locked into the undercut as you are trying to remove the record base from the cast.
Thank you so much for this video. I have bubbles formed inside, could you suggest a way not form these bubbles although I followed the steps you did here? Thanks again

Lovely video...!
Where can Triad VLC material be found? All other light cure materials are very rigid where as Triad has some flex after curing.
Can I use phone light or sunlight instead of the Light Cure device?
