Suitcatcher is amazing! 🙌🏾 Dreamcatcher is great at covers because they have the performance ability and vocal range to pull off almost any song. Their vocally focused covers are talked about less but are worth a listen because it shows that they're singers with really beautiful and diverse voices. I actually listened to 2PM because of the My House cover and it's the same for a lot of the songs they've covered. I'm mostly here for girl groups and so when they cover boy groups it helps me branch out and discover new artists. The boy group equivalent for me is ONEWE. They cover girl group songs sometimes and I've found some bops because of them. Their covers of Mamamoo's HIP and Oh My Girl's Dolphin sound like they were made by ONEWE from the beginning.
2PM are basically known as the 'Beast Idols' - so yeah, their music is overall on the more mature side. Monsta X are seen as their 'successors' in that regard. Glad you liked your introduction to 2PM ^^

A lot of their early songs have choreography where they were doing a lot of tricks and tumbling which was something new in the world of Kpop, and it made them unique. Fun fact: 2PM's fandom is named Hottest because 2PM is supposed to be the hottest part of the day. And they were actually created as the counterparts to JYP's ballad boy group 2AM. 2AM's fandom is named I AM because 2AM + 2PM = one day and when combined they become "I AM Hottest." I really don’t know 2pm that well, but this song is so good. Also dreamcatcher killed their cover. Damis rapping is so amazing and iconic that it’s easy to forget she’s also a lead dancer, but then she’s comes through and kills it like this just to remind you. Not gunna lie. Until this reaction, I had never seen the original, and undoubtedly it is a bop. It has that smooth vibe going on. So I'm glad that I have now seen and heard it...
On the other hand, no idea how many times I've seen DC's version, and like you at the beginning "wow", "wow' and many more "wow"'s, every time. They are scary good when it comes to covers, serving vocals, choreo and deadly visuals. I'm so looking forward to their comeback, though it may just end me. Still, not a bad way to go.
