That and the Flyers sucked this year. Gritty was the only positive thing this year
Being from philly that is true we are one in that way we can bash on our city as much as we want someone from outside the city does the same thing and that’s down right rude plus it gives us something to do

I'm not even a Philies fan! I'm a Toronto fan but Gritty is by far one of the best mascots I've seen! the look, the persona is perfect!
I always loved the blue-collar identity of a place like Philly - the guy at 4:05 said it best: "You're not comin' after our boy like that." I love Philly because the place has an IDENTITY that is so distinctly theirs.
