I think having Plo, Obi Wan and Yoda outside of Coruscant might have been part of Palpatine’s plan, since he knew these were the only Jedi alongside Windu, that together could defeat him.
There's a lot of what ifs on Plo and Obi Wan vs Anakin and they are able to beat Anakin.
If Mace had any Jedi that wasn't a complete pushover...
But yes, it probably was the plan to have all the jedi spread across the galaxy.
The entire situation was definitely orchestrated. Palpatine removed all of the people who could've protected Anakin from his surroundings so that he was left vulnerable. He knew Anakin would report to Windu. He knew Anakin wouldn't trust Windu and would show up. Leaving Anakin with that choice to make. Should he chop off the hand of the Jedi he hated most and save the guy who promised to save his wife or should he remain loyal to the Order which he had increasingly become opposed to and who in turn became opposed to him? It was all planned out and after killing Windu the only person Anakin had left to rely on was Palpatine.
I'm still upset about Kit Fisto. I don't really care about the other two, but why did smiley green guy have to die? Is Mace Windu really that much more powerful than the others that they provided absolutely nothing to the fight?
@@philipgood5041 It's not about being powerful, Mace just had an advantage in his fighting style. The Sith lightsaber style is called Yujo and draws power from the dark side. Kit Fisto has a very powerful fighting style but it would not matter against Palpatine's Yuyo. Not only does it draw power from the dark side, but Palps is also taught in all other lightsaber forms. So Kit Fisto was a pushover. but Mace on the other hand, he didn't use one of the traditional forms. He used Vaapad, which dips it's toes in the dark side but he has to be careful not to fall in. That whole situation was more like a Rock Paper Scissors game

Plo is the only person to have beaten Yoda in a duel, along with his strong ability to use force judgement, strong combat skills and perfected lightsaber fighting technique, he'd honestly have won the fight if he was there.

sparring matches mean nothing , serious yoda going all out would stomp plo in seconds .
sidious and yoda are both a stomp gap ahead of any jedi but vaapad windu and rage amped anakin .
there was also a sparring demonstration for the benefit of the padawans
where yoda defeated 3 council members (including plo koon) while unarmed ,
they were unable to land a single hit on him because he was simply too fast for them .

To be honest, accurate. Plo beat Yoda in a sparring match, and Ventress with a broken arm, and was winning against Savage Opress before he got distracted. He wasn't too far below Kenobi and Windu, if at all.

In my opinion it would go in the favor of mace and plo all the way up until the point where he’s unarmed because the dark side is where his true powers lie, Not in saber combat. What would really happen would be that palpatine would instantly push windu and plo back, absorb plo’s judgement with one hand and channel the power into releasing through his other at windu. This would severely drain windus energy as well as plo’s due to the effort it takes to dispense that kind of power. At that point it would really be a game of how long the two can block flying objects and palpatine’s lightning attacks.
Mesa would agree except Mace Windu did beat Palpatine fair and square without Plo. The reason is that Mace Windu's Vaapad takes time to gain power and Palpatine didn't kill him right away so eventually Mace was channeling enough of Palps own power back at him that hesa could no longer beat Mace. With Mace at full Vaapad and Plo to stop Anakin from disarming him there were only two options left: Palps dies, or hesa jumps out the window to escape.

Palpatine could’ve force shoved them away from him and finished them off with lightning, he could’ve pushed windu out the window then overpowered plo, he could’ve used the force to block windus saber or take plos and block with that, or he could’ve just ripped plos mask out and couldve made a run for it past where he was standing.

You know to be fair if they don't successfully put him in jail Anakin could actually argue that they just did commit treason in court and the Jedi order could be looking at the military actually deciding to arrest them
Let me elaborate if I remember correctly killing a leader of a country or state is considered treason right technically the Jedi order would be considered terrorists who were once considered heroes of the Republic for the simple fact that they just murdered palpatine if palpatine's cameras aren't working which I have a doubt that they would be working there is no probability or chance that the Jedi could defend themselves if the Republic decides that their murders especially if they can't prove palpatine's betrayal Plus at this point I think palpatine would be removing anybody that would know too much
