In this video, the importance of cotton crop production has been discussed. Cotton is considered "White Gold" because it creates economic development in the country. There was a time when Pakistan have ample production of cotton and also earn revenue by exporting it to other countries.
In the past, the production of cotton reach up to 1 crore 45 lakh bundles but now it drops to 45 lakh bundles only which is insufficient for the country's progress.
The reason behind the drop in cotton production in the country is the attack of different diseases and insects on its flower. There are not enough treatments or preventive measures available for them. In order for the revival of cotton in the country, the government as well as the farmers have to take enough measures to increase its immunity against diseases and production.
