Hello I have bought an old Studer XTH 6000. the units doesn't start the coolnig fan, and the red light blinks 4 times, saying battery overvoltage. This even happens with low battery voltages of 25 Volt. Is thihs a fault device or a faulty configuration?
Do you have RCC 02/03 and XCOM? Can you export current config? From where XTM is bought? FIrst is to perform reset to factory (read manual) and clean any OEM parameters. if this will not help, hw check is needed.

Yes, but i dont recommend it. RCC 02/03 will show you actual status of system, even when internet is down. Also you see XCOM connected message and all messages, which are not present on internet. I have done plenty of installations but none of them is without RCC02/03. But it works also without. Problem is that everything what you do is doing onblind, something like repairing car without diagnostic.
Hi. XTM 8000-48 accept maximum 50A on input (also as transfer relay), so generator 230 Vac up to 50A will work flawlessly. You can check datachart in www.studer-innotec.com/media/document/0/datasheet-xtender-series_en_v1.0.pdf where its written on input current max is 50A. Wiring is descrbed in appendix 1 (yellow paper if you have oficial documentation) on Fig. 9A . If not, its here: www.studer-innotec.com/media/document/0/annexe-manuel-xtender-v4.2.2_fr_en_de_es.pdf. I dont know what you mean by 120 here. 120A is maximum charging current for battery (meaning you can combine 50A from grid/generator + 70A from solar up to 120A for battery charge. For cunsumption you are teoretically limited to 80A. But this apply only for 5seconds. Nominal output (30minutes plus) from XTM 8000-48 is 8000VA/230V = around 35A. I normally wire it to either 1x 32A phase (continuous power) or L1.1 + L1.1 rated 16A each. This can be adapted if your power consumtion is handled properly and symetrically.
I tried to connect pylontec lithium battery to studer inverter, i got an Xcom CAN to create communication between all the devices connect but i am still getting the error message ' Error (225): Communication with lithium battery lost' what could be the problem
Multiple reasons can be the problem here. First thing is to upgrade XCOM CAN to latest firmware, same all Studer devices. Secondary, open XCOM CAN and sent me picture of DIP switches from inside of device, must be configured in correct way. There is2 basic modes - > activity control and inspect and also proper '''CAN BUS"'speed.3rd is bad cable, or obsolete fw on batteries. What is the version of batteries? Are you using 1 pack or multiple?
The pylontech is UP5000, I didn't update the fireware and I didn't even check the current firmware in the device. The Xcom CAN does not have a SD card slot, the SD card slot is only on the RCC.

@@skfree do systemu mi chyba bsp500 a nenasiel som ho za rozumnu cenu. z ciny sa da objendat kopia za 100euro ale neviem ci to bude fungovat spravne (pangfusung). teplotny senzor bts-01 tak isto sa da objednat. podla teploty baterii bude nabijat baterky.

I have an XTM 8000-48 single phase 230 Vac. Can I run 120 30 amp single phase generator into it for battery charging? if so. how do I do that?

There is no way to upload the DIP of the Xcom CAN here. No provision to upload images here
