What a wonderfully uplifting interview! I loved it when Dennis was laughing hysterically and Iain sat in quiet contemplative bemusement! I think Iain thinks he is quite eccentric!
50” Then another self-retreat at his Swiss home for six weeks, and then “one day my head completely blew off.” I want Jhana too! Yet, one is told not to create expectations. Too many paradoxes, but so be it
This is not about freedom. I don't feel any compassion, simplicity, humility or truth coming from this ego story. 45 minutes of it, folllowed by 10 minutes about the book he read and the method he accomplished (while having good diners in German restaurants) in 18 months that "blew his head of" (again.....). There is a lot of posing and effort to impress. He talks about joy as the ultimate ego experience to get. And stillness as opposed to the noise of Ticino. Not much to be learned here, or is it meant to be a warning "what not to do"? Well, the earnest watcher will make his mind up.
His laugh makes me smile from ear to ear. 😃
Infectious isn't it! Lol! Thanks Conscious TV
Far too short, please have Dennis back again soon!
"Life just unfolds if you allow it." And unravels in his case! This is hilarious and totally uplifting.
This interview is a riot. Mainly bc Dennis is and Iain gracefully rolls with it. LOOOOVE LOOOVE LOOOOVED this interview!

I loved this interview, I could relate somewhat.
Amazingly cool
55” A key book for his ultimate breakthrough: Ayya Khema’s “Who is Myself? A guide to Buddhist meditation”
51” All NINE Jhanas (apparently even the cessation jhana). Sustained non-duality ever since. I’d just like to get a glimpse of the first jhana.
48” No self… no thing there. Leads to transformative shift in view of existence
Very enjoyable. Thanks.
