Absolutely amazing footage of this coastal camp. Loved seeing all the wild and avian life. I knew you'd not be able to resist harvesting some samphire :-D. Keep of camping, stay free :-).
Really enjoyed this video. Great bird life and nature. Lovely scenes and camping spot. The east coast has been on my list for a wild camping trip for some time now. This makes me realise I need to get on it soon!
That's the first wild camp I have done by the coast, and the most enjoyable. Amazing sounds to wake up to, very different. There are some amazing wildlife spots around the Wash. Thanks for watching, Steve.
A fantastic symphony of sound there Steve but not so skeggy. I used to holiday there in the 70's. Good memories. A fabulous sunset, which no doubt set up the mood for your camp along with the awesome wildlife. I must say you visit some of the most splendid places. Good going. All the best there for the weekend. Mark.
Great knowledge of birds and wildlife you have Steve ...as you know i was under the same sky a few miles up from you ...You captured that starry sky perfectly ...surprised to see the muntjac..excellent watch mate all the best ...steve
Hi Steve, thanks for watching. It is a great coastline around there, I was surprised to see the deer, as I've never seen any signs of them around, but they are everywhere I guess. Steve.
very nice trip, such an easy way to get close to the critters. ..yea spoonbills, I know where they hide out here, never got close enough tough. . cheers!
Appears to be a pretty exciting location for bird watching. The spoonbills were a surprise and a bird I've never seen much like the beautiful Avocet. Your samphire and eggs look scrumptious! I must remember to try it some time. Great video and very enjoyable too. Cheers, Steve, and take care...
Steve, great video mate, love camping on the coast, awesome sunset, and wildlife was truly diverse, trouble with skeggy, too noisy for me but my kids like it, I prefer Mablethorpe and the surrounding wildlife areas just a bit up the coast, that breakfast looked lovely, always done samphire with fish etc which is lovely, cheers craig
Hi Craig. We used to go to the Skegness area a lot as a kid, my Grandad lived near Spilsby, so I have a lot of fond memories of the place. There are a lot of quiet places along that coast line, Skegness not being one of them! Cheers, Steve.
The position for the camera trap was a last minute choice, I didn't expect to get anything, there were no real signs of animals, sometimes you have to use your instincts. Cheers, Steve.
My pet hates are noise and light pollution! Stopped on the bike last week in an area which is usually loud with traffic completely different with no noise a nice experience ;)
Yes, it is a great place to visit, I used to go with my family as a kid, it hasn't changed a bit (apart from a new visitors centre and a 2 new lagoons over the road) There definitely were no Spoonbills and Egrets in them days! Steve
I don't comment much at all on youtube, but I had to say it man. Very very nice quality videos, adventures, and demonstrations. I like the most how you incorporate the cooking aspect into it instead of just making coffee in the woods ect, like I see most do. Keep it up. I am surprised you only have 2600 subscribers ( don't get me wrong that's a lot!!!).
History Resurfaced Thank you, very much appreciated. I love to experiencing new places, also sharing my trips, glad you liked my cooking. I'm pleased with my subscriptions, but I do think being a vegetarian puts a few people off? Thanks, Steve.
lovely shots of the bird life there, absolutely stunning, i really like the way you shoot your videos, what camera do you use for your video work? im stuck using a go pro type, thinking i need to upgrade!
Hi, I have a Sony A77 DSLR for wide angles and a Panasonic DMC-TZ70, which is only small but has a good zoom lens. Glad you enjoy my videos, I enjoy watching yours, thanks Steve.
It's not recommended to wrap the windbreak around the canister stove like that, as it can cause the gas canister to heat up from reflected & trapped heat, and explode.
John Clarke Hi John. It's the best one for the money (I can't find one better) There is the carinthia range of bivy tents which are similar but of a better quality, but are very expensive. If you can put up with a bit of condensation the Stratosphere is a good purchase, as it's a great design and a quality bit of kit for the price. Cheers, Steve.
you've done it again Steve, you capture the beauty of creation and present it on a plate for us, thank you for your work, tim
Cheers Tim, glad you liked it, it was a good camp for me. Steve

Great video. Loved the camera work and editing. You just snagged that fox too!
Beautiful place. I hope to do some costal camping later this year. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Enjoyed that a lot, the camera trap....one would almost think that was a set-up, fox and deer in one night :)
The position for the camera trap was a last minute choice, I didn't expect to get anything, there were no real signs of animals, sometimes you have to use your instincts. Cheers, Steve.

Hi, it is a Granite Gear, Crown Rucksack VC 60. It's a very lightweight bag but at 60 litres you can still get lots in. Thanks for watching, Steve.

Can I ask where you park to walk in here as would love to visit there?
Hiking4 Nature
I had to park in the main Car Park, there is a charge to park there, so I paid for both days. Thanks for watching. Steve.
