If only every Ugandan would get an individual tax assessment at the end of every year, detailing how much you paid in tax, we would be as ruthless as lions.
One of the ways we have been played on is due to the darkness we are kept in regarding what tax payer's money means.
When we demand accountability, we are not politely asking or begging. It is our right to know where and how our money is being spent.
We should not be apologetic towards knowing what should publicly be available.
Give Spire the data so that he qualifies his case.
I'm glad minds like Spire are rising.

public office is open to public scrutiny, all allowances are meant to be open and known to the public because its tax payers money, if information leaks and speaks of corruption , extortion or embezzlement, the public now acts as the petitioner and it needs answers, a public office is subject to the public court and requires answers wen need be.

Listening to this debate I wonder why Mr. Obore should keep his job. He sincerely has no art of communication. He doesn’t know his job at all. He needed to get the relevant information before coming to the show. Laws may help in many aspects, but some laws are utterly shambolic. Mr. Obore doesn’t seem to differentiate between laws, morals and accountability. Spire you’re a man of valour. I sympathise with Mr. Kamara, as he struggled to steer the debate due to Mr. Obore’s waffling, as Mr. Kamara was trying to sound less judgmental and avoiding being rude, it was at this point that he lost steer of the debate. Honestly, listening to Mr. Obore I would have lost the steering of the debate. I don’t know why he’s talking about the president when he can’t answer simple basic questions. Spinning in politics is a sin which finally catches up with you. Mr. Obore style up, this is the 21st century!!!

When the speaker can intemidate the whole deputy attorney General and forced him to sit down, prohibited him in the broad day light never to speak anything on the floor of the parliament when she ( AAA ) is still the speaker, so , what can my members of parliament Veronica, Ndiwalana, Kayemba Solomon humble as they are do to a powerful cruel self entitled Amongo full of urban arrivalism . Decoloured her skin to look like imperial colonists to scare away coward Africans .
If you claim there's no intemidatiins , look what happens to the brave Zaake, but why would he get subjected to the kinds of injustice yet he has the mandate of the people of Mityana Municipality. So, fearing to be treated like Hon. Zaake, MPs resorted to Spire and the rest went mute . Visit their canteen and hear how they whisper about her ( AAA ) 😂 , don't joke with the brown Speaker.

Obore has failed to represent and clear the air. Parliament should find someone who is composed and calm. This one came with fight or flight attitude full of stress on what is going on. He is ready with answers on predicted questions. Which might not have been the predicted ones. Ha ha ha ha

Also he outsmarted you on the issue of Mpuga and you ended up blaming NUP for taking action against him. The truth is that Mpuga took the “service award” just 6 Months into the job. How can that be a service award?
Secondly, if you read a communique from the President of NUP, they took action against Mpuga because overwhelming evidence was adduced in the minutes and Mpuga himself was asked and he consented to participating in the illegal act of allocating money to themselves.
