Thanks, Marchal!! I am preparing to install these on our new to us 2014 RAM 2500 4x4 CC. If I were your neighbor I would have showed up to install the other end of the step! It doesn't look like it is too hard but the length it is a pain in the butt!
I need neighbors like you lol. Yea it’s a bit awkward to do alone. But I could have used a stool or any of a number of items. But wanted to do it the hardest way possible for those without other resources.
Great video, I have the same truck and I have the diamond back cover as well. I wish these running boards would extend an extra foot so you can access the bed from the side. I got the diamond back tool box but it is very difficult without a step into the bed.
Thanks On4! I agree on those steps. I actually just made my life worse I got a PXL Ram and getting in the back without a step is a no go. How do you like the toolbox? Was thinking of getting on.
I wish I had got these, I got the APS recessed step kind and aside from taking 5 hours to install, once you step up you still have to reach up to get in the truck.

Hi rongray4118 I’d think it prudent. But I believe I just followed the instructions on instal. My intention would be to check it once a year or so to see if they’re backing out.
You just saved me 400 $ and the Amazon link fantastic. Great video thanks.
Love hearing that! You’re welcome Diallo!
Just finished up thanks again 🙏
@@ralph635 well done bro!! Glad to help.
Great Video! I didn't know about the Rivnuts ahead of time, so I had to attend TH-cam University.

I looked at those and thought the same. They look cleaner but these were more practical. Thanks for sharing that.
Thank you for this video ! Do you know what size nuts and bolts you used ?

Any thoughts on using thread lock on the bolts? Maybe keep the threads clean from road dust/oil/residue.
