Wow that looks like it’s not too bad the thing is that I bought the unit six months ago with CarPlay automatically built in and not yet to been able to get it to work it says it Hass to be authorized can’t seem to get it done
Looking forward to changing the photo on the screen with the calendar. I uploaded Zedge and downloaded a Chevy logo for the boot screen. Great unit!
You don’t need to have the hotspot on your iPhone. ZLINK handshakes through Bluetooth and then ZLINK creates a hotspot on the head unit and the iPhone connects to it automatically. But Bluetooth does need to be on. The reason it wasn’t working was because you had the hotspot on the iPhone on and it takes a few minutes to time out

Very nice presentation! Do you have any solution to show album artwork? In the settings menu of CarPlay, Show Album Artwork is switched “on” but doesn’t show.

@@phoenixautomotive4336 I have been submitting trouble tickets for a month now and have had one tech have me update the application and the other had me provide firmware info. They both knew that didn't fix issue and were supposed to follow up. I obviously have not herd anything back. Also I am only getting 2 channels of audio. As in all left and all right , both front and back. The front channel adjustments do not do anything. Which would not be an issue if the volume wasn't noticeably louder in the back.

What do i get with each of these options?
Are these wired options? Wireless? The last option calls out "wireless" but also indicates a USB dongle. Is there a wireless option for android phones?
What connectivity do i get without these options ? What comes with the Mark iii by default?? (by the way i have both Android [work] and iPhone [personal])

seriously this should be mentioned before you buy it. If i would've bought the wireless dongle I would only have to have bluetooth automatically connect for carplay to work. Hard wired doesn't work nor does wireless. The unit won't stay connected to my home wifi or cellphone hotspot for more than 3 minutes. I cant even access the play store without the app crashing. Im requesting a refund its to much of a hassle. I didn't even receive the install brackets
