I've been really really good this year, Slash. So when you come to drink the 40 I leave out for you and the beef jerky this 4-20....PLEASE give me plenty of presents and good times Slash! I still believe in you.
To bad that Axl and Slash cannot get along cause they were the signature sound of Guns and Roses. Slash's guitar playing the way only he could and then Axl's vocals just gave Guns and Roses its niche. To bad cause if these two could just go past their issues then Guns and Roses could live on and give much happiness to their fans. I get it though...NOT HAPPENING!!!
True. They were there just for few years and gone (disputes may be when young). I also recall other members including Izzy Stradlin who wrote patience I guess. Short but sweet GNR. I still practice their numbers though!
"Narcissist" is a word that's so easily thrown around these days, but with Quaxl you can really see how destructive these freaks are. Quaxl used his forcing out of Adler (which probably scared off Izzy) to extort the others into signing over sole legal control of the band's name to him. He's a prima donna of the highest order, turned the amazing energy of a famous band into The Axl Rose Show, and remade whatever hangers-on he could collect into the hard rock equivalent of a Vegas stage act. It's a joke and a damn shame.
Don't worry guys. TODAY, 23 AUGUST 2015, IT HAS BEEN REVEALED THAT SLASH AND AXL ROSE ARE TALKING TO EACH OTHER AGAIN. Now I can watch this video without my heart breaking again :')
The thing that tends to get me about Axl is the fact that NOBODY ever says that they liked him. You don't have a single rockstar telling us "He wasn't a bad guy just misunderstood." James Hetfield, Kurt Cobain, and even Slash cannot stand to be with the guy. That's testament to how bad Axl must have really been.
This is the first time I've heard Slash speak. Awesome.

All though i never liked Axl but the original Guns n Roses was a godlike band and will be missed by millions.
After just having taken my niece to see them this past weekend-i just wanna say I appreciate it. Even if it’s a money grab, idc. She loved it. And slash still got it
one of the best guitarists of our age.
Guns n' Roses fans know that if his ex-wife Pearl didn't clean him out financially and ruin his life, there would be NO reunion tour.
Not necessarily, I think they still would’ve reunited one way or another, it might have just been at a different time
Saul Hudson will always be the coolest. I’m glad they’re touring again. While Slash hasn’t really changed since even this interview, much less 1985 when they started, poor Axl has begun to look like Mama Fortelli from the Goonies
Sonovabitch. That's who he looks like now. I couldn't quite figure it out. Thanks. I think.
love all the guitar work he did in those extended songs like November Rain and Estranged, enjoyed so much
Slash is the guy that Piers can't get to change his tone of voice... he's a quintessentially cool no BS person
Famous last words, "I don't think there's a price tag that anyone can put in front of us to make that work". Guns and Roses is CURRENTLY doing tours, so.....
Funny tickets didn't cost 1800 for being in the front back then so what are you really saying?? Yep it is the cash, and being off the drugs!
+Rowell LeFrancios Jr. I see your point there, it does seem a bit pricey, but the prices of most everyday things have gone up since then.
Emo Brownies I am just so happy they are back with each other and ill get to see them on the 20TH!!! It was a bucket list show for me. And Im gonna get to see them all!!!
@@BearsDenOneinVain Ticket prices aren't set by Axl, Slash, etc alone. They get a fraction of everything. It has more to do with the guys who are funding and organizing it!
Slash is actually a well articulated spoken man. It shows some IQ there, behind the heavy rock facade.
So because he's a rock musician, you expected him to be of lesser intelligence?
@@keithbartholomew9433 Well, there are many not so bright talented musicians out there who have abused drugs and alcohol so much, to the point of negatively affecting their brain and behavior. IF you can believe that.
@@v.german11b yeah I get it, it just sounded like you expected less of him because of his career choice... You don't get to be in one of the biggest bands on the planet without having some sort of intelligence, not to mention being able to master an instrument.
@@keithbartholomew9433 I see. Well, many dumb asses are wealthy. Many uneducated, not-so-bright people become rich. Many highly educated with a high IQ don't become successful and well to do. All is relative. Having money is not a measure of intelligence and education.
Calm, collected, eloquent, and down to Earth in a way that says his principles aren't for sale.
I've been really really good this year, Slash. So when you come to drink the 40 I leave out for you and the beef jerky this 4-20....PLEASE give me plenty of presents and good times Slash!
I still believe in you.
Love both ways he speaks through words and guitar such a gifted guy
To bad that Axl and Slash cannot get along cause they were the signature sound of Guns and Roses. Slash's guitar playing the way only he could and then Axl's vocals just gave Guns and Roses its niche. To bad cause if these two could just go past their issues then Guns and Roses could live on and give much happiness to their fans. I get it though...NOT HAPPENING!!!
Lisa Wallace
It's GUNS N ROSES, not Guns and Roses , Just saying very gently not having a go, sorry.
True. They were there just for few years and gone (disputes may be when young). I also recall other members including Izzy Stradlin who wrote patience I guess. Short but sweet GNR. I still practice their numbers though!
Luckily for us, there was Price. Thank you gnr for getting back together. Loved your concert in Ireland recently.
Slash is back with guns n roses though I'm happy
Slash AIN'T NOBODY'S FOOL. A classy guy all around.
Axl didn´t force out Adler, it was the opinion of the whole band, because Adler was too much on drugs (he had 23 overdoses, actually)...
Don't worry guys. TODAY, 23 AUGUST 2015, IT HAS BEEN REVEALED THAT SLASH AND AXL ROSE ARE TALKING TO EACH OTHER AGAIN.
Now I can watch this video without my heart breaking again :')
+platinumgrace Es encerio?!! :OO its real, sorry bad english
IT IS REAL. STEVEN ADLER HIMSELF SAID THAT HE'S GLAD TO HEAR THAT SLASH AND AXL ARE FRIENDS AGAIN :D And no worries! Your english isn't bad :)
+platinumgrace I read that GnR is supposed to be havin a reunion concert in Portugal next year.
They're all rumours.. But never lose hope!! It might just be true!
platinumgrace Well I saw the news article on Ultimateguitar.com. I really hope it isn't just a rumor.
Slash, good. Piers, bad.
The thing that tends to get me about Axl is the fact that NOBODY ever says that they liked him. You don't have a single rockstar telling us "He wasn't a bad guy just misunderstood."
James Hetfield, Kurt Cobain, and even Slash cannot stand to be with the guy. That's testament to how bad Axl must have really been.
it was short but one of the great bands that will be remembered for all times, ego kills creativity
Slash is the greatest rock star of all time IMO.
Classic band!! one of the best rock bands!
Fast forward to 2020- Slashes last words to Axl - So bro, we touring again?
Axl- yea bro, need the cash!
The last thing they need at this point is more money
STILL Drawing the Crowds in......OVER 40.000, in Adelaide last night...... November 29.....2022 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm glad it all worked out in the end.

A hh xx 🎎
this reunion had little to do with $ from what I heard.. Duff mended the bad feelings between them enough for them to give it a shot...thanks Duff!!!
meanwhile in 2017
GUNS n ROSES - Not this lifetime Tour.
Slash has the coolest name, the coolest hat and the coolest skills.
This is absolutely the weirdest algorithm suggestion I've gotten recently.
