I can totally understand why you don't like summer that much...the quiet and peace of winter is probably much more pleasant for your work. I love fall (the splendor and solemn mood of nature) and spring (the mood of happiness) most of all, but artistic work is actually more accomplished in winter. It's such a joy to dive into your world through your vlogs!
Yes with the temperatures we are about to have this month ...It's just hard to love summer...yes winter isthe best season for productivity the only nice thing in summer is those long days , working without electrical lights is just better for our eyes. I'm very glad if you enjoy them !

Your cat makes me giggle. Mine like to throw my apples off the countertops and watch them plop and roll on the floor. I live in Texas and our temperatures are the same. Lots of iced water and tea.
I can imagine Texas in summer must be very intense....!That's good when your cat do that in a house, but in an apartment with neighbours below.... it could be a problem :)

The weather in The Netherlands is hot, 36* and I don't like it. I'am very lucky that my animals have a cool place to stay. Most of the time they are inside, but they can go outside if they like. You see cows and sheep in the meadow with no shadow at all. That is so hot for them. Cats like this weather. One of them is in the bedroom, the most hot place of the house. I don't even sleep there now. I love the video, as always. Take care and try to stay cool.
I know you also had high temperatures not usual in the Netherlands.... I know here too it's sad to see these cows in these dry fields with not a single tree for shelter. Wow really it's fun that you cats like heat. Clochette stays in the cooler rooms of the appartment and only visits the balcony at night; I will we should have less warm temperatures ina handful of days.. Wish you also lower temperatures to you and your animals !
I so agree with you about summer. I live in central Texas & come the end of June thru october is miserable to say the least. We hit 90 degrees F by June & it goes up by the end of the month to a searing 100+!! It is hell!! 115 degrees F including the heat index! No joke. Brutal is all one can say. TY so much for sharing a bit of your life & art with us! You are amazing!
I know I don't how you manage that in the south of the Us ...It must have an impact on mood and temper, I can't help being grumpy dring these warm weeks... Another beautiful video! You can't imagine what a joy it is to get the notification that you have uploaded a new video. Your life and work are so inspiring. I completely understand the misery of the heat. I live in the interior of California, where we get long stretches of heatwaves, usually in excess of 100 degrees (38C) or more. And when you don't have air conditioning, it can be very miserable. But I finally bought myself a portable air conditioner, which has been a life saver. At least it makes may day to day activities more tolerable. Thank you so much for sharing your life and work....can't wait for the next one!

Your friend's house is like something out of Alice in Wonderland, even right down to her interesting tea pot. I don't like Summer or the heat either, but now here in Australia we are in the middle of Winter - but despite the cold I love it and am dreading Summer. During the last few days some parts of Australia have had snow, except for my state of South Australia. We have frost and some mornings I have gone to work driving through fog through the suburbs and almost down to the city, and the street were we live I could not see either end of and was a little bit scary.

It was 13 degrees here in Adelaide today and got to around 7 in Adelaide hills. Going to be even colder tomorrow apparently. Take care.

Summer is really tough. I live in a tropical country and we just finished summer and going into the rainy season. Thank goodness. Hope you are doing better adapting to summer. At least the paper sculptures dry faster in the heat hehehe
So enjoy your tropical rainy season , I can imagine it's a relief to get there. Yes thank you hopefully by the second half of august it will be better. It's true everythng dries faster so at least it''s a benefit !

If you tie your hair up, you'll be amazed what a difference it will make. Long hair in summer feels like a hot blanket.
