Just stumbled upon your channel as I've been looking into getting a knitting machine, and all the videos have been very informative, thank you for making them

I just discovered your channel, this series is fantastic. I find myself getting caught up in thinking about computer interfaces and such, without thinking about what the carriage and needle bed are actually doing. I never thought a push button machine would work so well to play around with patterning.

Great videos! However, I have a question. Will a machine like this work with hand spun yarn? Thanks in advance!

i haven't tried to use hand spun yarn personally, but i suggest looking up "standard guage" and "bulky" knitting machines, to figure out which one works for your type of hand spun yarn. also the yarn would need to be strong enough for the machine to work on

Hello Charlie. Could you make a recommendation on cording to be used as a replacement retaining cor? Some of my needles are slipping back instead of staying in place. Would be for the Knit master 4500 machine. Many thanks.
