This scene makes me cry. Sam punches Dean when Dean is standing there crying. Jensen and Jared are perfect. Their acting here is first rate.
😢 Seeing Sam fight Dean hurts my heart. Especially when Sam becomes "a monster".
They way Dean cries, how hard he didn't want to call sam a monster. Like it broke his heart. I feel so bad that he had to say that
One of probably top three scenes of Dean vs Sam fight. (at least in the first 6 seasons). I can so feel the rage and desperation in either of them. I would not take any side. Dean had suffered greatly without and FOR Sam, but did he even think once WHAT stage of loneliness and despair and wish for revenge brought Sam to do what he did, to overpower all the hellish creatures, to gain that power? E.g what would have happened to Dean if Sam did not eliminate Alastair, or that Hunger knight? And that "stop bossing me around" phrase, I can see it was coming a looooooooooooooong way, because that's what Dean had to stop doing finally, but he simply can't. With his words Dean cultivates more guilt that later makes indeed Sam believe he is a monster, a bastard, unworthy, a freak. That was painful to watch.
And it was staged, edited perfectly.

This is probably 1/2 times Sam breaks my heart in how he treats Dean.
I know he was “hopped” on demon blood, but geez…
Dean literally died for him, did everything for him, then he beats him up.. and chokes him out, literally just after he was in hospital and on a ventilator. There’s just no coming back from that in my opinion, I can see why Dean truly struggled to trust him in the following seasons… I think this was deans breaking point.
y’all are literally so biased and it’s sad.. you’re saying that dean died for sam when sam did many things for dean as well. Y’all constantly blame sam for what he did with the demon blood when he was ADDICTED to it , saved dean and castiel with it as well, and let’s not forget dean never made it any easier on sam. how is treating him like a freak and telling him he would hunt him down and he was a monster gonna help anything or anybody? y’all love to blame sam but dean was very much so apart of the problem as well.

Everyone loves season 4. Yes it was a great season, but i hated that Sam didn't have the support he needed. No one stuck by him, and from his POV he felt complelty alone. Then at the end of season 5, everyone allowed him to jump in the cage with lucifer? Then when he came back no one took the time to ask him what the cage was like? Talk about a support system!
No one allowed Sam to jump in the cage. Lucifer nearly killed Dean, so he couldn't stop Sam jumping in and taking Michael with him.
You apparently don't remember the times that Dean tried to get Sam to talk about the cage. It happened more than once. Then again at that point Sam was soulless, which Dean didn't realize could happen at that point. Then after Sam got his soul back they couldn't talk about it because of the wall in Sam's mind. Dean was the one that tried to get Sam to talk about it, especially since they Then could both understand what it was like.
