I love Saitama's fight against Boros. Even tho Saitama judges Boros reasoning for running around and attacking worlds in search of someone who can rekindle his passion for fighting he allows Boros to go all out and use everything he has in his inventory until he finishes him off. Saitama and Boros basically have the same problem of being too strong and having developed a dull life without any excitement which is why Saitama can really empathize with him. Also love the part where Boros realizes that Saitama just played along. Just so perfect to capture the character and struggle of Saitama.
Saitama can relate to boros thats why before killing him gives him a good fight by holding back so what saitama isn't getting boros will get. Also FUN FACT: U can hear heartbeat of boros before the final move also throwback to 1st episode when saitama was dreaming about his good fight he also have this kind of heartbeat.

Season 2 changed the animation studio, there are some weird animated moments that look a little bad, but it still has some great animated moments, especially during the latter episodes of season 2
"i'm all for that Genos slander" LMAO ya'll built different frfr Crazy fuckin episode, Boros put his heart and soul on the line and at the end of the battle all that happened was Saitama not getting a real fight and Boros not getting his victory. Nobody got what they wanted. Just to give you guys a heads-up for season 2, say goodbye to this Godlike animation because it's a massive downgrade, but at the same time the comedy for S2 is arguably much better. It's a whole different vibe, you'll see.
Not that season 2 has bad animation. Not many studios that could replicate what Madhouse did with season 1. Plus JC Staff doesn't really do fighting anime, so with that in consideration, I think it's pretty good tbh.

In the manga it showed that The executives predicted cleaning up the rubble and making a new base would have taken at least a decade but Metal Knoght showed up and did everything in 7 DAYS. This also showed how the executives fear Metal Knights power and resources as in the datebook its confirmed he has an army of drones and bomber planes and also he took the rest of the Boros ship remains to his base.

Also there is an editor involved as well. The datebook is for the manga from Vol 1 to Boros volumes and it had the stuff about us robot army and even the webcomic later in mentioned that he had that and cyborgs. The building base stuff was shown in a bonus chapter where Metl knight sent essentially an AT AT to pick up the rubble but TANK top Master thought it was an enemy and tried to fight it.

Boros doesn't have a marble, he just got incredible regererative powers. And of course he always has that same face, he just doesn't feel anything from Boros' attacks, literally nothing. In fact the second time Boros attacked him in his purple form with a barrage of hits, Saitama just made a defense stance and Boros didn't managed to move him at all while a minute before he was throwing him around like it was nothing with the same amount of strenght, so it was because Saitama only allowed him. Something I truly loved about Boros was that, unlike all those classic villains who gets angry because the hero alwasy survives to their attacks and go on fighting, he is actually glad that it's happening because that's what he wanted, a battle in which he could truly enjoy fighting with everything he got. Also Saitama knew exactly what Boros was longing for, because it's the same for him, so he let Boros attacking him with his whole power, he let him enjoy the fight and only when he had to save the day he finished him off for good.
Your discussion about his lame names for his attacks is hilarious, and they actually talked about it in an audio book (japan only thing, but I think it's still canon), Genos tries to help him come up with cool names and a better costume but he can't remember them haha

The best way to look at season 2 is through story wise. The animation isn't that good but there are some amazing scenes with good animation. The story makes up for the bad animation though. You will love the story for season 2
