I am so very sorry for the loss of your dog. They are such an important part of our lives, we have a little 8 pound Daschund named Cooper and he is a rescue dog and I just dread that day as well. ❤ Please tell your husband thank you for saving him and taking such good care of him for so many years. I pray that your doctors will be able to put a treatment plan together for your health issues.
I stitched the Monopoly board in the late 80s early 90s, I can’t remember but it fit in the opening of a big square coffee table I had with glass on top so my dad fixed it & mounted it up underneath that glass and we were actually able to play on it. Now it’s hanging in my stairwell in a frame. And extremely quick and fun stitch.
So happy to see a video from you and be able to catch up with you over the past couple of days. So sorry to hear about your dog. Glad you finally have a diagnosis and I hope your doctor gets his act together so you can start treatments and start feeling some relief. Loved seeing all your stitchy projects!
Try painting clear nail polish on the shaft of the pins from Hobby Lobby to protect them from rusting and add them to the fabric side of the pillow. I hope that helps
Hi Jacque! Your FFOs are so pretty! Awwwwww so sorry about the passing of your doggie, Festus. Sending hugs to you and your hubby. Praying you have a treatment plan soon! Sending hugs and prayers to you my stitchy friend. XO
Love seeing your stitching. I too love birds. I have the same PS bird chart. Someday I hope to have it fill my dough bowl. Very clever bee skep creations. Sorry to hear about the passing of your dog. Thanks for the tip on the key for tightening hoops. My order delivered yesterday. Looking forward to your next Flosstube. TFS.
Just came across your video. Very pleased with your ideas and come-togetherness- ideas. Subscribing to your channel. You are like me in choosing patterns. Although the three rules for purchasing a pattern: 1. If it makes me smile. 2. If it makes me giggle. 3, if I laugh out loud. The three rules I abide by for purchasing patterns Thank you for putting out a great video. See you again.
I love your rules, but they are dangerous as well! I think I would own a lot more patterns following those rules!! Thank you so much for watching, subscribing and making me giggle. I look forward to more of your comments. Jacque
I’m so sorry for the loss of dog. I know exactly how your husband feels because it been two and half years since I lost my dog due to seizures and I still have a very hard time with it.
I am doing Prairie Birds too by Prairie Schooler. I love the Garden Alphabet by the Prairie Schooler so I might have to look for that one on 123 stitch. Love your progress on your stitching. I have RA so I know what you mean about always being in pain and tired. Thank goodness I can still stitch. I can not stitch as long as I want to but at least I can still do it. So sorry about your dog. I love dogs and I already lost 2 of them and I have a dog now and she will be my last dog because I am getting to old to walk her. Can not wait for your next video. I really enjoy watching your channel. Happy Stitching.
Thank you Linda for your kindness. I will be joining Sara @TheNorthwoodsstitcher for her Birthday SAL in July and we will be doing Prairie Schooler patterns. You are more than welcome to join in. I am waiting to see if she is going to give it a hashtag so we can all see our progress on Instagram. Hope you will join us!
Hi Jacque, very sad to hear your dog has gone to heaven. ❤ Lovely progress on your wips. I wonder if you may have seen me stitching Stoney Creek The Power of Love on my flosstube? .
Yes! It was your channel that I saw this wonderful pattern. You are such an enabler! Thank you for letting me know where I saw it. Yours is beautiful!! Jacque
I’m a fairly new subscriber and I enjoy your videos. I watched your latest tips and tricks and found it very helpful. I plan on going to find your first one to watch it. So sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. Losing a dog is like losing a piece of your family. Thank goodness they found out what your disease is an hopefully can come up with a treatment to help manage it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words Cindy. Life always throws you curves and sometimes you have to deal with them and sometimes you can duck! Thank you for watching and hope you find tips and tricks part 1 just as helpful. ❤️🪡
Would you be willing/able to do a review of flosses? I am interested in learning pros and cons of different brands of floss so I can make best purchases to try them out without spending a fortune. If not, I understand.
That is a hard one as each person has different opinions as to which flosses are the best. I know many people love weeks dye works, but they are my least favorite. I love Gentle Arts, Classic Color Works and Victorian Motto Sampler threads. Most all silks are wonderful and I will say that Vicki Clayton's Silks are fabulous and are the best value for your money. I could go on and on..
@@CrossMyStitches I understand about favorites for sure. I was actually thinking about things like whether one brand seems to tangle more and this one gives better coverage when used as one strand. You might find that one brand is more color safe than another or one tends to split more than another. I do realize that those things are still somewhat subjective but less so than I like this one more or less. Thank you for all the time you spend making and editing the videos and the money you spend sending prizes out.
@@DeeAZstitcher if I choose to do it I will probably do it on a lugana as the evenweave of the fabric will make my stitches look great and the design will be more uniform and straight. With all the lines and borders that would be a priority for me.
At the introduction to this flosstube, you show a sampler with LIFE is a Journey", "take time for yourself", listen to your dreams, etc. Can you tell me the name of that pattern?
Hi Kathy, it is a series from Stoney Creek. You can go on their website and click on cross stitch charts and patterns and then pattern of the month. Go to page 3 and you will see them towards the bottom. They are from 2012. Thanks for watching! 🪡🪡🪡
Instead of tearing down the birds attempts to create their home; why not give them a space to make their home; you might have enjoyed it; instead you were just MEAN‼️
There are plenty of trees for the birds to nest in. When they nest under the roof of my patio they make a huge mess with poop all over my patio and furniture that has to be cleaned up daily. My illness takes a tole on me and have a hard time just keeping the inside of my house clean. I love the birds and welcome them to the property. Just not under the roof. Thank you for your comment.

Hi Katrina, thank you for all of your kindness. I am taking one say at a time. The good things is it doesn't affect my stitching! ❤️🪡😁
Hi Katrina, thank you so much for your kindness. I am taking one day at a time. I am getting more stitching in!

The milk glass dish you got would be perfect for a pin cushion and then stand your scissors in the holes around the glass!
I have this same dish in my sewing g room. I put small scissors on the holes around d the rim.
