- Hey Guys, Migs Here! In this video, I am working on the newest dirt bike I recently picked up, it’s a 2006 Kawasaki KLX125, that sat outside for 4 years! Ahh, a bit of sand in the tank. I'm pretty sure that's good for the cylinder. I always run my gas mixed 32:1 sand ratio

You need to tighten up your cam chain adjuster on the back left side of the motor. I had an Xr 100 that made the same noise and as soon as I tightened that up it gained compression and the noise went away.
The gas was on your reserve tank I have a 2005 Kawasaki klx125
That’s good compression for a trail bike I’m pretty sure. They are air cooled low compression bikes it’s normal
Thts not good at all especially when it's a 4 stroke, I have a 2017 Crf125fb and the compression is hard compared to my 2002 Cr125 with 4 hours on it

My drz125L does power wheelies in 4th
my pitbike does the same... i can only shift up to 2nd when stopped... and my dad's streetbike only shift's into first when you're not riding... so you can shift straight into nutreal on a red light and stuff no matter how high/hard you pull up on the shifter... so it's fine i guess
If I'm running a 4 stroke that has sat for a long time, first thing is oil change and oil down the cylinder. Then I will mix the gas 80:1 and run that through it. Then it's good to go after one more oil change.

o btw check the air filter when u get a new bike ...it could have a mouse nest in the air box so when you start it up all that gunk will go right in the the bike . lol unless you didn't show it on video X3

Hey migs i had a drz 125L and it sounded the same as yours. i checked valves multiple times with no difference. Got mine for 120$! Be safe

Do an oil change, top end kit, rehone the cylinder, check valves and cams. You should be good to go.

WD-40 is not good for me
never use WD40 to “lube” anything up.it will make it rust so much.use grease.use WD40 when theres dirt and stuff in your pegs or clutch,brake level.you should have put fresh oil in before though even though its 1 test ride its bad for the bike.good work though keep it up

Martin no its water based so it will create rust,i though i could use it as grease to lube up bearings but everytime i did the bearings would blow up because they would rust up
