So does going over the skin with three passes not harm the skin? Also you stated that you were doing only one pass due to using enzymes in the treatment, so does that mean that not everyone needs the enzymes and just needs more passes? How would you tell which the needs?
Hi Hope this helps, The Diamond microderm is a mechanical method of exfoliation, doing multiples passes (the basket weaving pattern 3 times around the face ) in my opinion is a bit excessive, so with that being said No not everyone can tolerate an Enzyme with Microderm, why.. well because Enzymes are a chemical method of exfoliation, chemical+mechanical that’s double exfoliation not everyone can tolerated it. So to make it work or do something like what I did would be fewer passes with the microderm and choosing a Mild Enzyme … or only doing one. Someone who gets routine facials and their skin barrier is 👍🏼 this method works for them 🙂 hope this makes sense. 🧡
This question can be answered in a very thorough detail way but in a very simple brief way.. clients need to first use Sun protection which is one of the biggest factors in pigmentation. Next using what is called tyrosine inhibitors (ingredients that are going to suppress the production of melanin) clients being consistent with a home care routine.
