One of the best beers I've ever tasted, I drink them as soon as I get them too XD Wow what a beer. Super complex. I enjoy trying to understand what is going on in my mouth, not successfully. What a unique and flavorful beer. Definitely try it out!
This is currently my favourite beer. I like it very much. Those are, by my standards, small bottles. They are probably the perfect size for this easy to drink 10.5% strong beer. You want to keep track with this one. It isn't a social beer because of its strength and because it is so good, so easy drink.
is brewery is couple of streets from mine and super proud that they brew this beer, gulden draak is the dragon on top of one of the three churches (cathedrals) in my home city: Ghent (zip code 9000 see on bottle) and it is one of my favorite beers
A lot of Belgian brewers recommend that you do not pour the yeast into the beer. Aside from clouding the beer, the yeast can often impart an undesirable bitterness. (However, if we're talking about German wheat beer, then it is definitely recommended to pour in the yeast.) That being said, I do prefer some Belgian ales with the yeast included. It definitely hurts the flavor on others, though.

Good review. I think this beer is perfect after a meal. It works well as a dessert all by itself; its heavy with plenty of body but not overpowering. And its sweet but not sickly sweet. I definitely get a lot of date and fig from the taste. Definitely agree that you should drink it at a slower pace.
you call this a fast pace?! i just chugged this beer half a bottle in less than 2 minutes the rest of it after 5 or so....but 1 thing`s for sure - its really good beer

Ouch, 7 is low for this on IMHO. 9/10 but the one I am currently having , according to the bottle, is nearing the expiry, so it is wonderful .
I spent last week in Belgium and had about 4 beers a day kn average and tried a new one each time, this was definitely the best of them.
