We'd go into the forests behind school after class and stay near a secret waterfall until it started to get dark. Then we'd race the rain back to the town cafe and get a hot drink in the cold. Sometimes we'd throw in a few bucks at the arcade nearby and play some street fighter. Oh man
ok so this is a rly nice build, I especially appreciate how you're starting to make them just a little bit more complex, roof wise, as to teach your audience to also think and build a little bit more... less simple. Keep up the good work. Love your vids. :D

Can you make plus shaped houses? It has 2 stories, the regular ground floor that is, well, a plus shaped floor with different rooms and the above floor is the centre of that plus with a different roof compared to the ground one. And there is an outdoor workplace area where it looks like the player makes armour and tools.
I just built this using your video... my son doesn't think I did it HAHAHAH. He says I cheated cause I used youtube but I told him that's how we learn.

Please pay attention on the slightly highlited blocks! Top and bottom part is 7 blocks wide, and the left/right part is 9 blocks wide, without counting the corners which were a part of the top/bottom marking.
