I recently left your Patreon because it showed me the last posts you posted were from the end of April (nothing at all in May). I was so confused why you guys kept saying there is new stuff every week, but this comment made me wonder if something is wrong on my side. I checked your profile and the last post was still from April 23. But logging out and logging back in solved the problem and now I see you have been active the whole time. :O This has never happened to me on Patreon before, so strange.
@@prisonbreakd Hi, yes, the price was increased from 2 to 3 dollars on the first of May. So everyone had to update their subscription to be able to view our content.
It's a shame you didn't see the messages because we wrote 3 different notifications specifically regarding this change, because it's, of course, really important for us to be very clear with all of our amazing patrons.
Anyhow, we are getting new content every single day, so we assure you that you won't be lacking content, haha.
The fact that some of the members were not in good condition when recording this ): Hongjoong and Mingi were coughing so badly at that time. Mingi even had 4 bottles of water 🥲
I think i appreciate botb San and Jonghos different approach to their vocal technique. If i remember correctly, Jongo said they're working with a vocal coach and you can tell because his technique has improved. His tone and choices when singing are more warm and round. Also for San who said he was having issues with the previous technique he was using to sing to the point where he was bleeding.
Shoutout to everyone else as well with their consistency and beautiful voices. Mingi and Hongjoong also killed it, even though Mingi was ill while recording this, he decided to push through. I hope he recovers well.
Sans technice? For a deeper tone? I hope he gets better and dosent bleed any more
@@NSB_FABULOUS the bleeding was a few years ago (his own words!). if you listen to older songs, san's parts were higher, generally. he still sings falsetto and higher parts sometimes, but its not the same amount (his own words plus if u go through album 1 to now, you'll notice it). also, he had c*vid twice, so imagine avoiding needing vocal nodule surgery, then getting c*vid lol... ☹ so after he had c*vid you will notice in live performances (and he did it in this video once or twice as well), he sometimes takes the lower harmony to the melody when singing live! im happy he didn't permanently ruin his voice bc that would be devastating just personally, not to mention career-wise. he's better now though (his words) (he said all this in a pop live this year!)

Mingi was worried people will think weirdly about him because apparently, he was sick while filming this. Atinys know how sick he got at that time. But the whole video I just kept thinking, “this is how he sounds sick??” He did so great everyone did so great! Wooyoung and Yeosang improved so much with their stability, all 8 are amazing and they deserve all the praises they can get.
A member of Monsta X (called I.M.) has a new show called I.M. on the Beat in which Hongjoong attended. It's a show meant to focus on singer-songwriters in the industry. It feels a little more personal, he performs a few songs, and talks a little about writing and producing. I think you guys would like it.

I appreciated learning about the tech side of music production here and especially about the more natural-sounding autotune to correct pitch. That said, I imagine Jongho is one of those singers who is actually that perfectly on pitch with or without autotune since we’ve heard him sing spontaneously on talk shows and I assume those mics aren’t equipped with any kind of autotune as people normally don’t sing on them. Our Jongho legitimately just sounds like a CD recording naturally all the time. Best 4th gen singer hands down!
Yeah, Jongho definitely doesn't need autotune, but it's not about needing it or not it's as mentioned in the video more about having that 1000% tuned pop sound
@@valenandtheoyeah this is definitely true, completely raw vocals on studio track just dosen't go super well with the kind of production a lot of kpop groups and soloists use. dingo has a short on their channel where you can hear the completely raw vocals of this sessions song "utopia" that the staff uploaded from their pov, so there's no retouching like in the official video and also no music playing. they still sound good! just more on par with how a normal unretouched voice would sound lol

I watched so many Voices killers but Ateez personaly was the best. Unique voices that i haven't heard anywhere. And Jongho, not the best voice of 4th generation, but all generations. It's not because i'm an Atiny, but i listening kpop since 2006 and he's the most amazing kpop singer i've ever seen.

21:00 I wouldn’t necessarily say that, though to a certain extent, it’s true. For example, San dubbed as the “fan magnet”, even to this day. That alone is a HUGE factor. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has matched San’s monster stage presence. He’s not called “The Man Who Will Set The Standards Of Kpop” for no reason.
Hongjoong and Mingi’s composition skills are unique too, hence why Ateez is only Ateez. Not to down any other groups, but Ateez is honestly the only all rounder group I’ve seen lately. They literally have no holes.
It is amazing how Ateez only has good music and known to all, all are wonderful and self -astral, they are songs that give you chills listening to their voices to the viv, that preceded in studio, yunho my dear, your vocal makes me levitate, wow. .. and mingi sick and gave a show. . We need part 2, dingo, please see this dingo music, I want to hear beyond them also in this killer voice .. they are so amazing !! I'm so proud of them. Yeah you’re right other 4th gen boy groups don’t have crazy vocalist like jongho also another thing all member crazy performer and good in live performance every member can be main dancer in other groups that’s why ateez stronger than other groups in 4th gen
There are clips of them recording Dingo Killing Voice...the music was actually in their in-ears, no surround music, all you hear is their voice❤

It is amazing how Ateez only has good songs and known to all, all are wonderful and self -astral, they are songs that give you chills listening to their voices live, which precedes in studio, jongho my dear, your vocal makes me levitate, wow. .. And Mingi was sick, so he was drinking more water, he was disrupted that his voice fails, but gave a show.Vocal kings, dance kings, performance kings. I would recommend when watching the MV's to also watch the dance practices to see how good the choreo is, and how well they dance/perform. the different sound in their songs has to do with their lore, what the song is gonna sound like depends on if they're in world Z or world A
is world A they're just normal teenagers and in world Z they're fighting the government

i'd like to point out that sonically songs from the treasure (i.e. hala hala say my name and pirate king) and world series will be similar as their storylines weave in and out of each other, the fever albums (i.e. wave, utopia and fever) have most of ateez's different sounds, i think they experimented a lot w those albums!

with their names that have J in it, you dont have pronounce it like that. For Yunho you pronounce it like Yoonhoe. u can look it up how to pronounce their names properly if you want. For hongjoong it sounds like hong jOOng
