Hi, thanks so much for mentioning that it's fine if the bust circle extends past the center front. I was worried that I'd have to make adjustments to my bodice 😅 I was wondering then, how would I draw the between bust contour?
lol no problem, I would draw the lines to the center front of the bodice ending up with lines on either side of the bust line, thats where that particular guideline is meant to be. Whether custom or standard, you would trace from the bust point to the center front of the bodice for that one
Hi Betty. Thank you so much for the tutorial, it was very informative. I have a couple of questions though. After marking out the darts, do you cut them out or close them and transfer them to another dart? How do you use them to contour a bodice? Please do give a reply. Thank you.
@@Fine.melanine You’re very welcome, thank you for watching. I just posted a new video showing how to cut and use them. So definitely check that out and let me know if you still have any questions.
@@banyetchetnicodemusibrahim42 you’re welcome, yes to the elbow grease😂, that I receive. I’ve never used all the guidelines in one single garment, unless maybe bustiers, because guideline 6 combines 3 of them, in that case it all gets used. That’s the only style garment I believe would make that the case. Otherwise, you just use what you need to make your design. I have a video coming soon on how I use them all, so definitely be on the look out for that.
Thank you 🙏🏻
I’m going to be watching this again, writing down all the details and trying it out.
A great topic and
An excellent demonstration ❤
Thank you!

Hi Betty, thanks for the tutorial. More grease to your elbow.
The question I want to ask is, should one do all these contouring in a single garment?

Great. I will be on the lookout. Thanks for your swift response
Hi. How do you get a bust radius?
@@violettemothawana you put the tame measure on your bust point to right under your bust and that’s the bust radius/ bust depth.
2:09 ..how much measured ? it doesnt look 1/4 inch !!
Oh I mentioned it, I did 3/8” instead of the standard 1/4” because I have a more hollow chest
