Periods can also be called full stops. I think it's better since you avoid ambiguity or confusion better this way.

full stop is British/ Australian word while period is American but both of this can be use

Its not oly full stop. We can use capital letters after full stop. So which all that capital letters from A to z queens 👑👸 for my Heart palace am i crct sir 😏😊 😂

In English, in England, we only call this a full stop. Periods are womens time of the month, and not full stops! And you like teaching English, sweet Jesus!
