Looks fun. Best in CO, I'd have to ride it to see. It would have some stiff competition just on the front range (Hard Money, Floyd Hill, Warren Gulch, Longhorn, Rutabaga, Side door, Capt Jacks, Chutes, Mill Creek, Ginny, etc.). Not to mention western slope stuff like Horsethief Bench, Ribbon, Free Lunch, etc.
I live in Nathrop and ride this trail several times a year. It’s definitely up there especially with the good tech sections. Vitamin B is another one with some bigger features but more flow trail in between them. Nice riding, you made it look easier than it is.
For me it will always be Horse Thief Bench because it has everything you are talking about plus the views, but this one looks like a must ride and gets bonus points for proximity to the Springs.
@@mainstreamMTNguy It's definitely the "if you can only ride one trail" trail in Fruita. The drop in is some of the craziest gnar I've ever seen anyone ride (most people hike a bike the drop in). Do the loop clockwise, MUCH better that way
Good tour! I went there a year ago, would love to go back. Skipped a lot of the black first time out but would like to go back and try it. Great trail!
@@mainstreamMTNguy in the area Vitamin B I think is a lot better. Fooses and greens creek are quick good rips too near salida. The new trail system at Blackhawk (Maryland mountain) have banger short trails. White ranch (longhorn) in the front range is my favorite short afterwork ride
Meh… i rode this trail today Not impressed at all.! Very annoying trail, lots of sand, good features but climbing from the bottom and then Get to this trail and keep pedaling some more! It’s just annoying Trail is not even 2 stars to me!
I rode the BV single track loop 20 miles or so! I enjoyed most of the trails in this loop unchained to me felt weird, no flow, kinda like i was being forced Again the features are great but if you ride it starting at the bottom it feels horrendous! I also rode Vitamin B, i actually watched your video Thanks for the beta on that one! The first feature is impossible the rest is rideable Great work man
@@TallGuyTrails meh! Again there’s plenty of other trails with better views, tech and make worth the effort! Longhorn trail, two elk, hard money, ginny trail, they’re technical and fun! Most of buena vista and salida trails are annoying and dusty af! To each it’s own👍🏻

Definitely not...

Did you ride up it or down it? If you rode up it I agree, not fun. But down is a blast! What kind of trails do you like?

You gotta be in the mood for rocky tech. Not every trail needs to be flowy.
