It's a true classic! In my humble opinion, teachers should have students reading the story instead of watching a video. I'm just old-fashioned that way.

The date listed in incorrect. It aired in 1975. Great character actor cast: Harry Dean Stanton (Alien, Repo Man, The Green Mile, many more); Joe Spinell (Rocky, The Godfather Part II, lots more); Robbie Rist (as a child actor, his TV roles were lengthy -- The Brady Bunch was one of his best known; later he did voice-over work and lots of other TV/film appearances); Burton Gilliam (Blazing Saddles, Paper Moon, lots of appearances in TV episodes). Funny to see Spinell --known mostly for being a 'heavy' -- do a comedic role.
I know this story by heart and I saw its Russian screen version released somewhere in the late 60-s last century and I have to admit this was not funny at all,the Russian screen version was hilarious especially the boy, such a talent never stopped laughing
I learn that the boy is brave and he loves to play mischief things and he don't like to go home because his father never allowed him to do his wish and he fells boring and he is alone
Orion- Uranus was for the most part an empty planet. Orion was the technical ruler; however he was not yet at the point where he could soul-legitimately rule over residents. Orion- did always have chair position on Isadore's royal court and universal residency in Isadore. To be ready to rule over others, you must be at the point of 100 percent self-completion. Zero chance of jealousy, so that you never attempt to hold any resident back for any reason. Orion- did reach the level where he could have opened position to "self rule", but its better in a team of leaders, as you have shared reasonability. Orion- gained much with Uranus and Isadore combining, but he was able to keep the exact same level of responsibility, it does not get better than that. We all gained- all of Isadore's 16th chapel, and all of our knew residents.
