- A long day of few miles. I think we covered 160 miles but with no direct routes it was slow going, with 4 boat crossings. I’ve learned to love them, and now have a ferry pay account so I can blend in with the locals.
Not much progress, and a relief to curl up in an air bnb and get a good night of sleep while my tent successfully dried out 🥰

@@robincannon2569 Follow the E39 from Flekkefjord to Trondheim is the easiest recommendation! It takes you through the entire west coast, where there is lots to explore in the most effiecent way. You also have all the known tourist locations close to the E39 along the way 👍

Yikes! You are at the Arctic Circle already! Good call on the AirBNB. Adventure is all well and good, but sometimes you have to know when to give yourself a break. Pinky at tickover on the sidestand almost sounds like she's saying....'Come on...Lets go!' 🙂

That's one soggy tent. Is the flysheet leaking through to the inner tent or is it just when packing it up wet it's soaking everything? Could be condensation if its so humid wirh no wind/ventilation. I used to carry a small microfibre towel when backpacking and shake most of the water off the tent then wipe it down before putting it away.
Some amazing scenery you're travelling through though.

I wasn't expecting the cooking facilities at campsites to be as good as they were in Norway. Yep the place is Scotland on steroids. Maybe a better tent next time one that will take packing and putting up when still wet.
