Una suggestiva ferrata poco nota: Rio Secco. Trentino, Cadino

Percorso: partenza da Cadino (comune di Faedo, Trentino). Breve e ripido avvicinamento, con un passaggio di I grado e attraversamento del Rio (in caso di piogge meglio evitare). Ferrata costituita da varie sezioni: Salto dei Caprioi, Belvedere, Passaggio dei Gabbiani, Grotta del Basilisco, Grotta della Marmotta. Diversi i tratti verticali, ma molto (troppo?) attrezzati dopo il rifacimento del 2013. Gran parte arrampicabile, con le dovute cautele, soprattutto se la roccia è bagnata. Ambiente suggestivo, incassato nella gola del Rio Secco. Ritorno con sentiero n.489 che scende ripidamente, con tratti attrezzati. Quindi consigliabile mantenere l'imbragatura. Possibile salire al Cadin Alto e rifugio Sauch, ma non siamo andati
Distanza: circa 4 km. Dislivello: 400 m
Livello: Sentiero EEA. Ferrata non difficile, sebbene abbia vari tratti verticali, poiché molto staffata. Il Passaggio dei Gabbiani è il più impegnativo ed esposto
Prestare molta attenzione in caso di roccia umida
Equipaggiamento: casco, guanti da arrampicata, scarponi, kit ferrata, longe di sosta
