I prayed for his intercession for my son. He is sober 5 yrs now this month of June. Thanks be to God for this holy man who took the grace of God and used it to accomplish Gods holy will in his sobriety. Loved this program!

Matt should be Canonised as the Saint of Addictions and I worked for Years in Hostels and as a Street Worker around People with all kind of Addictions and Chaotic Lifestyles and Matt inspired Me to give up Alcohol after an Accident Made Me dependant oh High Levels of Morphine and the Medication was a very Dangerous mix with Alcohol . Well I asked Matt to Help Me and that was over Ten Years ago and I do not smoke or Drink and this could not have been achieved without Matts Help . When I was a school Boy I used to pass the Spot where Matt fell Dead and a cross is carved on the path there and I used to Think of Him as a Boy and little did I know how He would Help Me all those years Later after Living in London for forty Years . I have the Firm conviction that Matt should be Canonised as the Patron Saint of all Forms of Addictions . Please say a prayer to Matt and ask Him to say a prayer for all those who are gripped by Addictions and give my Thanks for His Continued Support and Help . God Please Help those in the Trap of Addiction and Inspire the Church to make Matt the Saint of Addictions .

If you're a member of AA, then try contacting another AA member, as the support is brilliant. Remember continued sobriety is in the group, none of us can do it alone. We need each other. Don't be afraid to ask for help. If you're not a member of AA, I strongly recommend you join. It's the best association in the world. Members really watch out for one another.
