    Just bought this guitar (well the Lag T70DCE) for my daughter yesterday. A small shop in town stocks Lag guitars and they spoke very highly of them. Both she and I know nothing about guitars so a couple months ago I started the search for a beginner acoustic for her and could not find too much info on Lag. Lots of info on the big names Fender, Yamaha etc but something about Lag kept nagging at me. Well I came across Richards Guitars and his TH-cam videos and he won me over (along with the local music shop I mentioned before). Like I said I have no knowledge of anything guitar but it is so pretty and sounds so nice I almost want to keep it for myself! Anyhow thanks for your videos Richard, they helped me decide yes on Lag and you have a new fan from over in the USA! I was also very happy I was able to purchase from my small local music shop! They need the support more than ever during these times! Stay safe everyone!

    Just bought this exact guitar. First played it and felt and sounded like a $1,000 + guitar then looked at the price tag and was less than $600. Best possible guitar for this price range and a great guitar in general. Good job LAG guitars keep up the good work!!!

    Your enthusiasm, and some what bashful, boyish, self deprecating ways are endearing. Richard I have learned so much about guitar brands out of the mainstream and love your tutoring of the fundamentals , especially the Blues.
    I look forward to your videos and thank you for your time and infectious style of presentation....

    nice 👍👍 i have a black LAG guitar. (T100ACE-BLK) love the sound and it's been very stable and sturdy through the 6-7 years I've had it.

    Is it from lag??

    Mine was delivered this week and it really is a stunning guitar Richard. Sounds great unplugged but even better when played through the Kinsman KAA25 amp. Having been a fan of 12 string guitars for many years, I think I may be playing the LAG more than the Cort AD810 12 string, which is a dream to play than my old Eko Ranger.

    I have one of these and wondering if this is suitable for gypsy jazz. Nuages.
    I am also looking at a richwood 70 oval hole. Do I need that or is the lag good for it please?

    Hi, what strings do you have in this guitar? I just bought it and the strings seem to be too hard, and it's so hard to play :/

    • @RichardsGuitarshop
      @RichardsGuitarshop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. I don't see your name on our records so can I presume you didnt buy it from us? If you did - we would literally set the guitar up to your personal requirements and the gauge of string would be on the certificate. During COVID we ran out of certificates but if you didnt get one we can forward it. If you bought the guitar from us please contact us immediately because these guitars are SUPERB PLAYABLE. Playability is one of the major plus points due to their excellent geometry. Hope that helps.

    I’m French. My first guitar was a LAG. Beuuurk!!! No sound...After one year « le chevalet », I don’t know the name in english (bridge?) was off!!😕 Now I have got a Lowden F32c (vintage), a Larrivée L05 mahogany/Sitka (vintage), and an american Breedlove CR. No comparaison. Lag no. But I see video with Eastman, Furch and Dowina and they sound cool. 👍 Dowina, is very very interesting., beautiful sound. I would like to ear them in a real situation. And perhaps buy one of them.

    • @shaunw9270
      @shaunw9270 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have several but they're not good players nor do they sound good. Richard is opening my eyes & ears to the possibility that decent acoustic guitars exist below the realm of J45's & DM28's et al 😊👍

    Sorry Richard much as I respect your views had one of these- totally un playable ended up putting it into a local charity shop .....(it had a tinny plywood top) think it came from Hornby Skews( probably mis -spelt! )

      @RichardsGuitarshop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope - it wasn't a LAG. They don't have laminate tops (any of them in fact) and JHS have never distributed them. So I think we are ok!
