As a Kensei main ^^ i have a need to say that you should go way more into your unblockeable, its the most powerfull tool you got. After parry you can do a forward jump light wich afterwards enables one, or after a doge heavy you can do one too or after 2 lights (wich on pc is hard i get it). But yeah, well played.
i didnt even know kensei had a front-dodge deflect, no kensei ive fought ever used them just goes to show how few common kensei players know what they're doing

His Sid dodge deflects are good for pulling people with hyper armor out of chains and you can go in to finishers out of your side dodge heavys for more pressure
Side deflect doesn’t guarantee anything but you can sometimes get the dodge heavy I’ve caught people off guard and managed to get a guard break as well sometimes
It doesn't guarantee damage but if you superior block to the side and throw the swift strike it can't be parried making it a good combo starter since it shortcuts to the finisher.
When you get a heavy parry do a dodge forward light so you can pressure them with your unblockable mix up. It would really make your kensei feel like he can trade back and forth with mix ups much better. Doing it the way you are, you get a heavy parry and do 1 light, with no added pressure.

Alot of characters need new moves added to prevent predictability imagine they added diagonal attacks

Aa a Kensei it is not many of us lef5 utilize his full kit. Every other Kensei in my games is litterally light and side dodge spam.
