I was at that great Chicago show . Saw them that year at the Chicago Stadium the sound sucked . He said they would be back to make up for the Stadium show . I sat behind the sound board at the Uptown . Fantastic show.

Lets focus on how gr8 of a singer Phil collins is. And with respect to his health, how about we pray and leave the negative comments in our mind and not at our fingertips. #TeamPhilCollins

I don't usually leave comments unless it's astonishing and unique. In any event, an embellishing and tenacious classic legend!

He unfortunately looks and works overall at least ten years older than he really is. It is sad.

I can't believe you people who continue to make improper comments, why? Phil has an operation on his back, it left him with a dropped left foot. The guy is still having the time of his life and good on him.

Michael Edge Phil has had several surgeries on his back, neck, and arm and they have left him with what is called “drop foot”. You may have seen someone with this problem attempt to walk. It’s very precarious. They must lift their leg high enough for their foot to clear the ground and then they slap their foot back to the ground. They have no control of their foot other than that. Last summer doing some shows in the UK Phil was in a hotel and fell and hit his head on a chair in the middle of the night and had a nasty gash on his head. His mobility is greatly reduced and it makes it very difficult for him to walk or get any physical activity at all. It’s surprising he looks as fit as he does. The surgeries also left him unable to grip with his left hand and so he’s unable to play drums anymore. For Going Back Phil actually taped the sticks to his hand to play.
The important thing is Phil is out there doing what he loves to do and he’s having fun and making memories with his teenage son. Phil sounds terrific and I’m proud of him for getting out there and not letting age and potential disability slow him down at all. He’s truly a legend. God Bless him.
