Fantastic retrospective yet again! While I love this game subjectively, I think objectively there are massive issues with it. As you mentioned, clunky hitboxes, weird aim on the bazooka/mech, and all of the bosses are the same which I am open to but I think could have been handled much better. Some things that weren't mentioned that I take issue in are the slow monkey bars, the unnecessary camera facing turn in the submarine, and the fact that you can literally put down the controller, walk into another room, and still win the race in Ghost Town (though I know this isn't the case for some consoles for some reason). The development process of this particular game was also very rough and involved the development team scrambling a rushed game after Cerny and Sony had a falling out and Cerny left the project and they had to almost start from scratch. Subjectively I'd give this game an 8/10, but objectively I'd have to drop it down to a 5/10, at least on my PS2 copy of it.

The slow monkey bars do annoy me but that’s really the only major problem I have with the game. I’d say the EPIC atlasphere levels make up for that.
The biggest issue I recall about this game was the horrendous load times, at least on the PS2 version.
