Recommendation of traditional Japanese Onsen ("TO-JI")

A "TO-JI" is a long-term stay in a hot spring resort for medical treatment.
Although the number of inns for hot-spring cures ("TO-JI" inns) is decreasing nowadays, there are still many traditional "TO-JI" inns remaining in Tohoku.
"TO-JI" inns are different from ryokan inns in terms of the quality of the spring water and the freedom of stay.

・What is "TO-JI"?
Onsen have been used to treat illness and injury. A prolonged stay in Onsen for medical treatment is called a "TO-JI" (therapeutic hot spring cure). Ryokans for TO-JI, with their old architecture, inexpensive accommodations, and self-catering facilities, are unique from ordinary Onsen Ryokans and remain in many parts of Japan to this day.

自炊湯治は経験ないですね。藤三旅館は何回も訪れた大好きな宿ですが。
やはり、現役世代の社会人は長期の休みは取れないので、引退後の楽しみにしておきますね。

湯治は移動などを考えると2泊以上の長期がやはり落ち着いて過ごせますよね。

自炊部には食料調達が不可欠
藤三旅館には藤三売店という何でも売っているお店があったのです
今はありません
おばあちゃんもいません

旅館部の入口が改装されて綺麗になっていました。
以前は自炊部側にも出入り口があったようですね。今は閉ざされていました。
