I'm surprised what I came up with is the ACTUAL speed solving method! In that case, clock is pure skill and no memorization, which is pretty cool!
notice me senpai
Nice!
Hi
Jesus christ. I just got back into cubing and jperm blew up 😂. Proud of you man ive probably been subbed since like 30k
Yes but 🆑️🆗️ is stupid
Me seeing top side: Oh that seems simple-ish, just start with-

This was literally me.
EEEEEVIL
Yes
I've saved it on an online simulator thing and basically just solve the front side the solve the back side the same way and it works :/
I love how he came up with the actual method on its own
Moral of the story clock is easy
I made a method on solving a Pyraminx
Almost like he cheated
@@sakuragihanamichi8527 Or he actually came ip with it, not that hard to believe as he literally solved a puppet cube on his own.
@@sakuragihanamichi8527 maybe, maybe not. It's not like the method is that difficult to think of though (if you have experience with puzzle solving)

Silas The Cuber what’s pin order
I'll admit it. I'm a fan of clock, yes its an easy puzzle and you dont need to learn any algs but you still need to do look ahead and you can plan a lot during inspection which is why I practice it so much.
How did he manage to come up with the actual speedsolving method on its own so fast?
For a single side, its pretty obvious that the corners are trivial to fix and can be left for last. The rest follows from there.
Because he's a genius
He's a speed cuber and this is not too different. Probably that is why.
Learning what way to turn the pieces you want while minimal affecting the rest and using that to solve a puzzle. Is what he does. Especially with all the weired cubes. So it's natural that all this was easy for him
He knows a lot of puzzles my guy
Congrats, you literally know the method we use for speedsolving the clock. Time for sub 10

Jperm 1 year later: How I got a WR on Clock
😰😰😰
@@ikonikgxt925 yeah, I quit watching his videos
For me the hardest part was figuring out how the pins affected the dials. I imagine it makes more sense with a physical clock, I was using an online one. Once I got that, though, I went through pretty much the same process.
The corners must always match on opposite sides because each pin can only affect the four nearest clocks, but in each configuration (up and down) the corner moves because you're literally moving the corner.

Congratulations. You're the only man to make me interested in Rubik's puzzles. Also, well done on everything you've done so far!
That last tip about pin down and rotate the clocks of the up pins was the bit I'd forgotten, I was doing it the opposite way.
I remembered solve the cross first then turn over and solve the other cross.
Very clear video thanks.
I enjoy the new editing with the audio!
GG! And at 0:52 I felt like, “Oh my gosh, now I know why you had to specify WITH NO HELP. Anyone could do the first side but adding the second side would be a great pain.”

I did this once too, they had one at my alma mater, was so much fun. I ended up making a bunch of matrixes to see their relations, then primarily solved it on paper.
Everyone: talking about clock
Me: waiting for the Gan 11 m pro review
For 5:42 this is the way it is. You always move the corner no matter what you do with the pins so the "brother" corners can't change direction. That would require for one of them to stop moving while the other is moving

Yo we’re all nerds but I love his community so much even though I’m super new to cubing:)
Be a nerd one day, its fun
This rubik's puzzle in particular is honestly one that most people overthink, when all you have to do is move and match the "cross" (matched clocks) with the unmatched clocks by doing some somewhat simple pin combos. And then you're essentially done, just make sure you turn the corresponding dial to the pin(s) that are open, as to not mess up the other side.
I have never bothered to solve one either, you are not alone!!
So glad to see Dylan try a new event! I wish you practice this and get better. Would love to see a Sub-10 solve soon!✌🏻✌🏻
