Sports parents in general are wacky, but put them into a sport where $$$$ makes a difference and they become insane. At least in baseball, football or hockey your kid doesn't get better at the sport proportional to the money you spend.....
I wish we could get a good dirt track facility where microsprints could run here around Lexington, Kentucky! It seems like something railroad tycoon RJ Corman would have to finance to be successful?
