I will never forget the joy of finding one of these for sale. I had a Wesselcode for the longest time & really regretted selling it. My joy turned to horror when the guy refused to sell me the Bars & Forks! Even after explaining I'd pay extra, had to have it as the whole kit & his response was "I don't care, I like the Bars & Forks" mortified haha.
I don't think you mentioned the Robbie Morales T1 frame that didn't have the wishbone seat stay. There was probably only 100 or so made so good luck to anyone trying to find one.
I still have my mid school race bike. A '97 Trek Y-Issue bike (Wade Bootes) Marzocchi Sinister forks, Powerlite Powerbend bars, Bontrager rims. But I added some Box One brakes and Maxxis tires. I even still have the cranks off my buddy's Specialized Fatboy. My bike is basically a time capsule from '97. I just can't give it up 🙂
I had the maroon Nate wessel barcode. That build that is featured was almost spot on with my build with the exception of the chrome rear rim for brakes.
This is almost my whole old t1 but i rode a dinky little gt racing seat that i cut the nose off of and had slammed almost all the way down, bent my t1 bars and had s&m slam bars that i cut down and i rode 36 13 and never 39 14. So many broken chains, headset cups, bent sprockets and crank arms. We used to cut, bend, file and rig things up any way we could. I upgraded frames when the euro bb integrated headset t1 came out and never quite liked that bike as much as my original t-1 tank barcode. I repainted that original frame so many times before i stripped it to raw and sold it or gave it to a friend that snapped the headtube off his federal frame. Still riding a T1 barcode and a Fly savanna. I want to find the newest garrett byrnes frame!
i was a baby in the late midschool era but i've got a 1996 mongoose villain with some random 8" rise 4pc bars and i'm 6" so it's not very ideal for my back😂ill mostly stick to the luxury of my 9.75s on my main bike
thank you very much for putting this, with the exact same tune on "FORWARD" for scoring that bring so many old good memories back: The Album Leaf - "Vermillion" ✨ ║▌║█║▌│║▌║▌█ T34418L31 🤩😍
Nice match with the soundtrack, Album Leaf: Vermillion. The track from Joe’s part in Etnies: Forward.
This is literally the most beautiful bike I have ever seen. Well done.
Still have my 21” Joe Rich frame 🎉

If you're interested in this bike, it's actually up for sale now over at www.luxbmx.com.
Evan has decided to let it go to a new home

Where'd you get the stickers from? I stripped mine raw about 10 years ago and would love to rebuilt it.
How much does it weigh?
I had the same bike that's the best frame ever
It's kinda funny how low we used to run our bars 20 years ago.
It hurts my back just looking at it. I’d kill to have this bike though lol.

Instead of stickers, just paint the logo/design and size/length. It last longer...
