Trevor was electric from start to finish in this one. One of my favorite games this whole tournament. It’s a shame Marshall struggled but drew was on his A game. Wish both these teams were still alive.

Marshall keeping the hope alive after getting beat down is lowkey one of the best parts of the tourney for me. We’ve seen fractions of that pressure crack the best of teams, Plouffe’s should be going home and immediately grinding for the next games, can’t wait to see them back!

It's so funny, because he obviously loves to compete, but the narrative around his team in MLW is that he doesn't take things seriously enough (he just traded a player, and the player remarked that he requested the trade because he wanted to go to a team that takes the league more seriously). I love Drew!
This matchup really highlights how tough Drew's and Kollin's submarine sinkers are. With 47 feet between home and the rubber, you figure their stride/release point cuts that distance down to a little more than 40 feet. It appears as if the blitzball rises 3 feet from their hip, and then sharply drops back down a foot within the last 10 feet before peppering the top pipe. And credit to Trevor, you can see he's adopted a sinker since the first few blitzball battles. Not as much initial rising and drop action, but it drives in on the righty batter's hands like an axe trying to chop the plastic in half. And it was diving away from Dan like a squid swiftly evading its enemy. But in the end, Dan squirted a mean glob of ink all over Trevor's slider. I love this shit.

No idea if this is a popular opinion or not, but I’d love to see Rottino return as Trev’s teammate in a future blitzball battle. I think the rest of the warehouse has improved enough to the point where it would no longer be unfair from a competitive standpoint to pair them up. Plus, the storyline would be awesome
@@_MjG_ Agreed, but I honestly don’t think they would given how good everyone’s been getting and the fact that Vinny would have to pitch every game. As great at Trev is, he hasn’t been dominant the same way he was in the earlier battles, and I doubt Vinny has picked up a blitzball in the past year. I’m sure they’d still be a great team with a shot at another championship, but I don’t think they’d be completely dominant or even be the favorites

Trevor with Dan Rourke then his brother in last 2 BB is the main reason why he did not win. He went that far in that BB4 and that game almost all by himself. I would LOVE to see Drew play with Trev on BB5 while Jolly Olive is back with Dan on his team. Or you know, Trev and Evan Longoria xD
In BB1 & 2, Trevor was paired with another former MLB player & against a less experienced field. Him not winning those 2 seasons would've been a major upset. Trevor having too good of a player paired with him would make for a predictable boring outcome. I don't want to see that.
@@_MjG_ There is a lot of good players now, both on the mound and at the plate, I think he can have a descent partner now after losing quickly in the playoff of BB3 and BB4. It would make a great story for BB5. I'm sure he was happy to share this experience with his brother but Marshall not hitting anything in that game was tough to watch.
Trevor was absolutely dominant, sadly hasn’t been able to find a decent teammate since Vin but still probably had lots of fun w big bro. Sad these are one and dones WGI and Rotten gone so early😢

You guys should make the frame a lot wider all around so you can tell easier if it hits the backround . All you need to use is strong springs to hold the backround.
