Kinda hoping for fatal bullet protagonist be mentioned by either kureha or itsuki. Besides that love everyone new designs, praying for more itsuki and kureha events.
1. Unison attacks we’ve seen in the trailers. Remember the scene where Kirito and Eugeo points their swords together and rush in towards the camera? That was a Unison attack. 2. Chances are we may have all sword skills from the get go but we will have to unlock their enhanced versions. In the Anime Expo demo all sword skills were unlocked but you had to use skill points to enhance sword skills. 3. What’s weird is that some of the sword skills seem to slow down a bit when activating and those ones look like they have some impact but others don’t. Even tho VFX can be excessive I feel like they did contribute to the feel of Lycoris’ sword skills. Nova ascension looked more powerful in Lycoris then it does in LR because it slowed down a bit and the VFX were a decent amount. 4. I imagine if we do get more content, chances are it’ll be smaller dlc that’s free and won’t add much to the game in general. Personally I think we won’t get any dlc after the paid dlc unless the game sells WAY better then Bamco expects
SAO FATAL BULLET was definitely my favorite, I’m not gonna lie…..I understand that the Alicization arc is first and foremost Kirito’s story but our FB protagonist constantly getting the shaft or not even so much as a mention kinda bugs me.
FB protag getting left out again but most of the other cast is in? I really, REALLY hate this. It's really not fair how our character just keeps getting left completely out.
It is getting really absurd. For the game that’s supposed to be the last in the franchise, they can’t really say they’re brining in everyone if Rei and the FBMC aren’t included. But maybe there’s still hope.

I wonder how affective the drop rate for better gear and rare gear will be just from increasing the difficulty? Also, I'm looking forward to getting into this one, after knowing that hit rate and accuracy will be gone. Like, no more worries about wondering if I'll deal enough damage to the enemy if I have low accuracy or not. I love that aspect. I wonder if the character commands are any better for AI's on the team? Like depending on the situation, 1 should be healing while the other attacking with specific skill layouts.

Why would they need to revert back to Level 1 if we had levels? Seems they forgot that in Hollow Fragment, Lost Song and Millennium Twilight the characters all started at already a high level and we progressed from there, which seemed to work fine.
Because in those games, "Levels" were an in-universe thing. In Last Recollection, levels are a gameplay aspect for the player. Underworld does not feature "levels".

I understand what you're saying, but all I'm trying to say is I think they are worrying way too much about starting the game at a level other than level 1. PS: I feel the devs don't really care about what's in-universe in SAO games. For example the "building relationships with your allies to increase combat performance" systems, I don't see how they can be a real in-universe thing, but Argo and others act like they are.
Excited to play this game but still not really happy with the continual change of mechanics in nearly every game and indirect PR. Informative video though and hopefully this game turns out great
Not sure if you mentioned this, but is weapon proficiency farming still so annoying? Is it removed? Lycoris (and HF) made me wanna rip my eyes out, farming proficiency for all weapons and differenct characters.
Do you perhaps mean the Moon Cradle knights, Nergius and Entokia? In the canon WoU, they were busy patrolling the End Mountains during the war. I wouldnt be surprised if they are included, but they are not people that they can hype market like other characters.

Hi gamerturk, i have a important question: To play with gameverse characters i need to buy the 2 DLCs or this 2 DLCs is only to get exclusive skins? Because in description say DLC 1 comes with certain characters and 2 with another ones. And Eydis and Yuuki will be included for free or will be paid? Because pay for characters is very very bad :/ . About fishing, a Big F, lol. But seriously, i like fishing, in real life and in games too. Fishing not present in Recollection is not cool. About DLCs i don't paid in Lycoris and i will not pay in Recollection. I stopped to agree with this. My hope is in the Recollection the gameverse heroines have more importance and bed scenes and have friendship talks like usual. And yes, free story DLCs, like in Lycoris. Until now i don't understand what will be this 2 DLCs.
I do not think you need the DLC to play with the Gameverse characters. The inclusion of the characters should be in the base game. The DLCs are basically an additional quest for their bed scenes from my understanding. I am not sure if Edith has been confirmed at all, but Yuuki has pretty much been confirmed, previously through a cropped Key Visual, and now with the Steam Database Update.

The Alicization story DOES have levels though. It's just not called Levels. It's called System Control Authority. It's what prevents Kirito and Eugeo from effectively wielding the Blue Rose Sword when they first find it.
Great presentation as always but two things. The previous game only had the great graphics to help it. The story, side quests, characters, world, combat, monsters, and overall gameplay is only enjoyable for 2-5 hours until it immediately dies. If the Last Recollection game doesn’t change MUCH, which seems so from the gameplay videos, it’s gonna be a long-term disappointment. Also prepare for HEAVY HEAVY MONETIZATION even IF YOU PAID PREMIUM for the game. Greed always wins for AQURIA (developers). This game should have been a DLC instead, since the DLC that was shipped later with Alicization Lycoris was horrible. Here’s the summary: - Cutscenes - Wow 100 floor dungeon - Until you realize most are copied and pasted - Quests that tell you go to 1st floor, then nth floor, then nth floor. Last Recollection could have been the DLC to FIX the previous game’s major issues and remove certain awful systems and add better ones to IMPROVE the overall content package of Alicization Lycoris. Since this is an AQURIA production, don’t expect something like Fatal Bullet (from DIMPS). On the bright side. Alicization was technically 3 years ago. (well 1 year ago if you count the DLC which were probably thrown out to make a “DeLuXe EdItIoN” package for more money for less content. It’s honestly disgusting and anti-consumer what they’re doing there.) If AQURIA fixed everything that made Alicization horrible and gave an invigorating experience at LEAST to the level of Hollow Realization or Fragment or even Fatal Bullet, then cool. This is how Alicization should have launched. Either way if the game is good, don’t give too much props to them. They fixed a 3 year old game and shipped it as a different game for premium price. Recommendation: Do not preorder unless the reviews are good. Never expect the best. And do not buy the deluxe or blah premium package. You’re probably not gonna play more than 30-50 hours anyway. Why would you expect the DLC to bring you back when you got Alicization’s experience telling you it’s not worth it. Also no Klein in game 0/10 done.
I never bought the whole thing about "last SAO game " for a second! As long as it makes money they'll make more. I'm glad to hear they learned regarding sacred arts, they were terrible in Alicization Lycoris (in terms of being their ONLY battle option) and made me not use some characters I'd have liked to. I didn't like the lack of outfits for them either. I get WHY certain outfits weren't available for those characters but they should have had alternative ones instead of - you know - ONE!
Sorry for being colloquial in the video, the exact phrase was "the end of the Gameverse", which was a reasonable statement then and continues to be a reasonable statement now. It's something that wouldn't prevent them from making new games, just finishing the games connected storyline. Like AWvsSAO is not part of the Gameverse, they can just make a Progressive game, or a Unital Ring game without directly connecting it to other games etc.
It's always particularly troublesome when Japanese language loves to be vague when needed to begin with, so they can get away with a lot more ambiguity too xD

Good riddance, accuracy stat. No one will miss you. I’m glad LR is getting a lot of quality of life stuff, (which, strangely, should’ve just been in AL from the get-go,) it makes the hype for the game so much more worth it, And the bit about them handling Kureha, Zeliska and Itsuki’s development “with great care” is intriguing. Guess only time will tell.

I dunno, I remember being super excited for these games but now.... I think if they somehow remade Aincrad as in all 100 floors with no skipping like in Integral Factor, with an original storyline starring a CaC with the cast still there of course Then I'd get hyped for these games again Edit: Oh and give it a "Hardcore" mode aka permadeath, now that's a Sword Art Online game 🙂
No fishing means the game is automatically doomed to fail. Because Lycoris had fishing, it went from a 0/10 to an instant 10/10, best SAO game ever. Last Recollection will have to rely on good content now that it doesn't have fishing to fall back on should there be none. Worst decision they could've made, 0/10 game, refunding my preorder
As for the DLC, I did not fully understand what the author of the video had, since 2 DLC are declared on the store page, judging by the description of the characters' bonds. And I'm very wary of this game. I was disappointed when, after 3 years, the developers did not listen to the fans, and did not add save slots to Al, that is, if I want to replay the game, I need to make a backup (hello 2000-2014). Sword Art Online. Judging by the comments on Steam, Sword Art Online Hollow Realization crashes very often and has a bunch of bugs, and for some, after 200 hours of play, their saves crashed due to a crash ...(steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198044967015/recommended/607890/). So, alas, bandai is not very interested in this series, which is a pity. The potential is big.
The thing with accuracy is awesome. It was so annoying since Hollow Fragment. But i wont buy the game when theres no fishing.... But really i hope the daily challanges will stay with cube, and the daily challanges will get better. And they need new and more quests for Cube + more content

I disagree with the Level-argument. In HF, Kirito started at Level 100. You could let him start at Level 199 in LR.
But Aincrad canonically has levels. Levels in Lycoris was a gameplay metric, not an in-universe aspect. This is mainly a gameplay portrayal decision.

No fishing means the game is automatically doomed to fail. Because Lycoris had fishing, it went from a 0/10 to an instant 10/10, best SAO game ever. Last Recollection will have to rely on good content now that it doesn't have fishing to fall back on should there be none. Worst decision they could've made, 0/10 game, refunding my preorder

But i wont buy the game when theres no fishing....
But really i hope the daily challanges will stay with cube, and the daily challanges will get better. And they need new and more quests for Cube + more content
