This song was written by Serge Lama (lyrics) and Alice Dona (melody) about 1971/1972. Serge Lama was married at this time with Daisy Brun, his press secretary. He met his second wife Michèle Annie Potier who also was married at this time, and they fell in love. As Michèle Annie Potier was building up her musical career in Northern Africa at this time, they could not meet often. So, he told his friend, Alice Dona, that this situation makes him sick. Alice Dona wrote the tune in about 15 minutes (she was ashamed of this being so quickly and said it had to be whispered to her by angels) and gave it to Serge. He wrote the lyrics in about 2 hours. His disc company (Phillips) was hesitating to publish a title with "sickness", but it appeared on his next album. The song grew popular by the cover of the Egyptian-Italian singer Dalida. Since then, it is considered as a classic of the French chanson. Lara Fabian's version of it was chosen as his favourite by Serge Lama. Lara's interpretation of the song was always changing. You will find several different versions by her on the internet. If this th-cam.com/video/q_bq5mStroM/w-d-xo.html not existed, "Je suis malade" would be the saddest love song in French chanson history.
What I get from this song is that she is in a toxic love affair with someone who does not love her back as much, and she is stuck, he comes and goes when he wants, and she's stuck, loving too much with no love returned. That's why she says she's sick, he's causing her to not be able to live her life, because all she can concentrate on is when he will be back, scared that he will leave. That's my take on it. Great reaction, I love her, she is, I think, the best female singer I've heard. I'd never even heard of her until I started listening to Dimash, so thank you Dimash for the introduction to Lara, she's absolutely fabulous.
In fact the song was written by a french male composer and singer who sang it so it's about a man who is the victim... The composer/singer is called Serge Lama. So you can see him singing this song on TH-cam and also in front of Lara Fabian.
Because I am me, and have had time to re-watch that performance several times now, here is something that also impresses me about this particular song. Thank you all who have helped me understand the creator's intent and story of the song. So, with the context of a person's identity being lost (from the perspective of the identity) being understood. The flow of the music, with the lyrics, is almost erratic, and strained. Nothing quite falling in perfect harmony (rhythm, not tone)...completely intentional. That slight, off kilter aspect of the song added soooo much to the drama and emotion of it. Took me a while to figure out what it was musically that was adding to her already fantastic performance. This is a brilliant arrangement through and through, down to the last tiny detail.
It's interesting to read your analysis "the flow of the music, with the lyrics, is almost erratic, and strained. Nothing quite falling in perfect harmony (rhythm, not tone)... completely intentional)..." As a person who speaks French myself, I've never thought about the hard time that someone who didn't understand the language could have when hearing this song. When I heard it for the first time, I found the descending (Idk if this word exists, I hope so, but I believe you understand what I mean) of the notes, the rhythm changing and the breaks so in sync with the lyrics, so well with the different emotions: hopelessness, rage, despair, etc.
J-Dub, The love Lara lost was her Mother. She was extremely close with her Grandmother & her Mother. She is completely sick when her Mother passed away. For those who are very close to their mother, it is extremely difficult & may feel as her mother left her in the night alone in her despair.
This was my gateway drug to Fabian. And my admiration has only grown since. While she composes & writes the vast majority of her work (in French, English, Italian and Spanish), this is perhaps even more impressive for being a cover. She made a couple of pretty substantial tweaks to it: slowed the tempo, added the two a cappella sections, added the lyric on crescendo/decrescendo "this love is killing me", employed brilliant (and difficult) switches into and out of speech register, etc. The original singer and lyricist Serge Lama even started to incorporate some of her innovations in his subsequent performances. Fabian is a top tier master vocalist with an enormous toolbox of skills that she can employ very precisely to get at the emotional core of whatever piece she is tackling. I've never seen anyone with her stage chops. Known for her insanely resonant and effortlessly powerful belts, I'm at least as impressed by how rock solid she is at pianissimo too. I've come to think of her as something of a vocal chameleon, adjusting each little thing she needs to in service of the story. (Calls herself a songwriter with a voice.) So tell us: what kind of experience would you like next? And in which language? So many choices. We Fabian stans can rec something to suit any fancy. 😆 Great reaction.
When this song was first recorded, it was not received very well as Serge Lama was well known as a comedy singer at the time. Much the same way Ray Stevens music was known for back in the U.S. in the 1960's. The song had been covered a couple of times over the years without much success until Lara Fabian made the song her own. Even Serge Lama said the song is now hers !

Thanks for your genuine reaction to the amazing Lara Fabian! Lara is a phenomenal singer and Artist and she is absolutely unmatched as a live performer, and not only is she vocally perfect, but she also is a true Queen of Emotions and no one can compare to her. This performance of «Je suis Malade» is an absolutely brilliant timeless Masterpiece of the Highest Class! In my opinion this incredible Lara’s performance is one of the very best live performances ever in the whole history of music. I have seen this performance countless times and every time Lara's voice pierces me to the very depths of my soul and brings me to trembling and tears. Lara is simply out of this world…
I love Lara Fabian & actually found Dimash through listening to reactors if Lara always mentioning that she must be amazing as Dimash loves her, so I looked for Dimash. She is an amazing singer & story teller. She puts so much emotion into her performances which is more than evident with this one. She has a song called Je'taime which is beautiful and there is a really emotional video of a show she did after going through illness & a really hard time in her life &, unknown to her, some audience members had planned with her pianist for them to actually sing it to her but singing the lyrics Mon'taime (we love you) & when it started the whole audience sang it to her & all she could do was cry - so beautiful 😍 She too is, apparently a lovely, down-to-earth person who loves her fans & they her. I think Je suis Malade is more about being stuck in an unhealthy relationship & feeling unable to get out of it, but that's my take on it 🤔. Love your reaction to this amazing singer 👏👏👍
I love watching people discover Lara Fabian. I myself only discovered her in April of this year.. I’ve basically been “stuck” (very willingly lol) in the Lara rabbit hole ever since! Lol. She is spectacular! This was a great reaction!!! I hope there will be more Lara to come. Basically any and all the songs from this concert (From Lara with Love) are amazing.. and yes she always puts the much emotion in her performances.. it’s just who she is! My personal favourites from this concert (after this song) is Adagio, Youre not From Here, To Love Again, Broken Vow and Caruso... on no particular order since they are all mind blowing... a lot of people only seem to react to performances from this concert however... but in my opinion.. this isn’t even the best of the best.., but it’s a wonderful start to discovering her amazing career that is still going strong 20 years later! I can’t wait to see more of your reactions!
Lara is truly exceptional, as a person and as an interpreter. This song, then, excites every time. Certainly some of the most emotional and passionate performers, together with Dimash. Food for the Spirit.
Hi j thank for your reaction of Lara very beautiful star in France this voice is so magnifique you loved the French music listen Patricia Kass who sing mademoiselle chante le blues she sing and joue of the trompette it's super thank I watching from France ❤️🇫🇷🇫🇷
Lara is Dimash's role model. He dreamed as a boy to do a duet with her. Thanks to Dimash, I heard Lara’s exceptional vocals. Soft voice with subtle emotion and extraordinary technique. With her suggestive interpretation, Lara easily penetrates to the most subtle areas of the soul. The song is truly a masterpiece. I warmly recommend you to listen to the trio of Lara- Aida-Dimash and the song "Ti amo cosi". Thanks for the wonderful reaction.
And now you can probably make the connections to why dimash has been such a huge fan of hers for years. My personal opinion is that he garnered a lot of the ability to convey emotion that the way he does from watching and listening to her. She's amazing and this particular song just breaks my heart every time another great one from her that she wrote also is Broken Vow. Also Caruso is another amazing composition.
She's almost like a method actor, but for singing. As has been said by others, she portrays it as if she's living the words, and is experiencing them in real-time. It was awe inspiring to watch her to say the least.
@@JDubReacts absolutely. And tho not the same I see her influence on Dimash. Lara makes me think of what a young virile Edith Piaf would have been like.
@@lolawants2008 I agree, the influence on Dimash is evident when you see Lara sing. He uses many similar techniques; the breathiness, vunerability, delicacy, vocal fry, belting, strong mix, the little crescendos and decrescendos, even using vibrato then straight tone then vibrato on certain notes (eg the final note in SOS 2017). I also thought of Edith Piaf strongly during this song.
I always forgot to breath listening to Lara Fabian. Words just don't come easily after listening to her. I mean how do we describe emotions in an easy way. Well, you did a great job with that, so thanks!
So glad you found this. Such a gorgeous song, such an incredible performance. Easy to understand why Dimash took her as a role model when he was still a schoolboy...
When singers do covers the goal is "to make it your own". This is the ultimate example and a master class in doing just that. When people can't figure out if you lived the experience, or are certain you must have, you have done your job.
Lara is one of my favorite female singers. Her voice is amazing and she for sure knows how to deliver emotions. All her performances are excellent. About the song: It was first published in 1973 by the French chansonnier Serge Lama. Lama wrote the lyrics, and chanson composer Alice Dona wrote the music. It became known mainly through a cover version by Dalida and has since become a French chanson classic interpreted by several artists. The meaning of the song is described on Wikipedia as follows: "The lyrical I of the chanson describes how it feels when it is abandoned by the beloved person: It no longer dreams or smokes, has no future or past, and its whole life seems to go out. It feels sick as in its childhood, when its mother left it alone at night with its despair. Although the I expects the beloved person again, it does not know when or where. The relationship has been going on like this for over two years without the beloved seeming to mind. The I is tired of pretending happiness to others and gets drunk every night. His/her former artistic talent has disappeared, he/she can no longer find songs and words. If the relationship continues like this, it will kill him/her. The I will die alone while listening to his/her voice on the radio."
Thank you...that definitely explains the confusion I ran into toward the end trying to figure out the "you" of the song. It is an amazing song and a lyrical masterpiece!
Dimash has adored Lara since he was quite young. She is the woman who makes his heart go pitter patter. She is more than 20 years older than he, but that means nothing. She is married and he is honorable. He has now had the privilege of not only meeting her but singing with her as well and she has written the words to a song he has performed.
Lara is doing a covers of that song, which was sung and written originally by male french singer Serge Lama in 1973, and she had completely appropriate that song. Ever since then, whenever I listen to that song, it's her version/covers, that I'll listen.
This is one of the most famous "love song" in France since fifthee years ago, write by Serge Lama, but you're right she interpretrates it like it was her own story (cause her history is similar by several sides) and trully the most perfect performer
I suspect many of us can relate to the lyrics and emotions of this song. Lara was in a relationship for some years with someone who in her own words was 'a wolf'. No doubt she went through the same feelings. I certainly did when I was in my twenties. Thought I would die and wished I could. Love can be a wrecking ball. Lara sings that so perfectly.
The song I'm Sick is inspired by a real heartache of Serge Lama, the story of a long secret relationship. In 1969, the singer met Michèle Potier in Chamonix. Love is a certainty, but they are not free either: in 1968 Daisy Brun married her press secretary, she is married and the mother of a little boy. They love each other in secret for several years and promise to regain their freedoms, but Michèle hesitates and eventually flees and settles in Morocco for professional reasons. Lama is desperate, he wants to put words on his pain without succeeding, until the day he confides to his friend Alice Dona: "This story hurts me, it makes me sick". Back home, at the piano, Alice Dona composes in a few hours a melody [...], which very quickly she makes listen to the singer. It is a revelation and Serge Lama writes almost the entire text with a jet.3 He would later say, "The 80% of the song I wrote in 20 minutes is almost a shame. [...] it came out of my heart so much that I immediately felt that this song had something that others didn't have. ». The great Serge Lama...
I am discovering you through this video and I cannot express how much I love your energy and voice. You're spreading so much peace and quiet strengh, and I loved your reaction. I'm subscribing ! Love from France :))
For the context, this song is a cover of on old song written by serge Lama (who sang it) and Alice Dona in the 70's (big hit in french speaking countries) Lara Fabian has been very moved by this song and has covered it many times in different versions. This performance is considered the best by many people and most of her fans. She has said a few times that this song is her emotional let off steam.
This song was written in 1974 by serge lama a fantastic french singer and lyrics by alice dona, french as well, and it was interpreted in such emotional way by lara because she has suffered in 1999 from a brokenheart relationship which was similar to what this song express….try to react on her great performance singing together with johnny Halliday, our great french singer, recentely gone, in REQUIEM POUR UN FOU live, 2001 i guess…and thanks for your reactions
Hi J dubs : no she's playing a character The song was written in the 70's by Serge Lama and sung by Dalida then. Lara is incarnating the character described in the song as a sad love story. Traditionnal moving French song as they are since Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. Lara really feels the song. As a native French : huge Thanks dear for letting it known for non French speakers/listeners. Much appreciated ! Keep up the good work !
Dimash loves her she was such an inspiration to him growing up and one of his idols and he actually got to sing with her breath taking and she loves his music
I am French and I know this song very well. It's a love story that ends and the girl expresses to the man she loves passionately how much he makes her suffer. He goes out without her, he comes home at any time, and he doesn't care for two years. She tells him that all the love she has for him and he no longer shares, is killing her little by little and making her completely sick. These lyrics were written by Alice Donna for singer Serge Lama, when they separated. A big hello from France, near Paris!
This song was written by a musician friend of Lara's who felt trapped in a long term seemingly hopeless affair with a married woman. Eventually the woman did leave her husband for him, but I'm not sure that it lasted. Lara is an exceptional artist who ithoroughly nhabits each song with subtlety & nuance, incredible skill & one of the most beautiful voices ever. Professional singers describe her performances as Master Classes, as indeed they are.
This performance rips my heart out and leaves it in a puddle every time I revisit it. Lara is master at transmitting emotion. And what a stunning voice!
Lara is everything when it comes to vocals and the emotional delivery No one quite like her and fun fact Dimash is a big fan and Lara has been a big inspiration to Dimash with delivering a song emotionally you can see some of her inspiration in his songs.
As in the previous Dear’s comments, Lara Fabian has always been one of Dimash’s idols. You should definitely check the song Ti Amo Cosi with Dimash, Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina. Lara Fabian was so impressed with Dimash’s voice that she wrote a song for him Your Love, which premiered at the State Kremlin Palace, Moscow, on International Women’s Day in March, 2020..
It's a cover the original artist is a man whose name is Serge Lama. She does what Dimash does ...the way he sings it and the way she sings it are completely different. She has transformed it into what you heard. I think the telltale line that everyone seems to miss, it's when she says yet I believe I had talent... before your skin... To me this means that this is a physical obsession that she cannot be rid of and she knows it... I pour my blood onto your body and I lie like a dead bird when you're asleep. That deep sadness and a kind of self-contempt or what fuels her anger, at least for me. This is your favorite song of mine thank you so very much for bringing it
As much as the song was written earlier, Lara did have a very public and devastating divorce and there is a performance wherein the audience took over singing when Lara was too emotional to do so. Dimash has a strong respect for Lara and was honoured to sing a trio with her and Aida G - Ti Amo Cossi - during Igor Krutoy’s birthday celebration a few years back.
Actually that’s a myth. Although she was struggling both professionally and in her personal life. Lara has never been divorced. She only married once and that is to her current husband Gabriel...
Hello for some answers : in french the "tu" is a word for someone you know, and the "vous" (not in the song) is translate in english "you" too... another singer "Serge Lama" sang this song (first) wrote by a woman and probably tells definitly OUR story. For the traduction to be more precise "crèverai" is "wil die" but like an animal or someone badly dead ;-)
The love of tired Swans * Know * Mademoiselle Hyde...
You know !Lara Fabian has the voice but these lyrics depict the despair anyone has experienced of having loved and lost. Looking at your face, I sense that she has been able to make you feel her despair, which is a good thing!! I suggest that, when you have the chance, to look at Celine Dion from a 1996 concert in France singing the song from the movie Bagdad Cafe . The title is "Calling You" and I think it's the performance that excedes all her others. Her range is effortless ..Not many can manage to sing this song in a way that takes you on a spiritual journey! But she did!!
Really enjoyed your reaction to Lara. She is amazing! Take a look at her singing "Tango". You will see a very different side of her and music as well. Thank you!
This song is about unrequited love.... so emotional and heart-wrenching especially if you have personally experienced it!! ☮❤️ Sea Point, Cape Town, South Africa
hi from france. this cult song dates from 1973 sung by serge lama. written by this singer and composed by singer alice dona. for the story, serge lama was dating a girl who for professional reasons went to another country. after 2 years he explains the situation to his friend by saying "i'm sick" alice dona to relax the atmosphere starts singing i'm sick. and serge lama starts writing the sequel in 30 minutes. alice dona will compose the music. he will sing it and the singer dalida will sing it in her turn the same year. lara fabian sings it rather in the dalida version. in the 2000s serge lama will sing in a virtual duet the song with dalida (disappeared in 1988 i think)
Good reaction my friend....She is the best singer and performer of the world....For millions of people and for me...She speaks like 8 languages and sings like in 10 languages....That's why she is the inspiration for Dimash...Please react to her masterpiece songs in this order:...Caruso (1999 Live version Singing in italian)...Je T'AIME (2002 Live version in Paris Singing in french)...Perdere L'Amore (1999 Live version Singing in italian)...Adagio (1999 Live version singing in english)...And Ti Amo Cosi (2019 Live version Singing a trío with Dimash and Aida Garifullina)....Thank you.
She has sung in 12 languages, already: French, Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Latin, Russian, Greek, Turkish, Hebrew, Azerbaijani. She speaks 6 languages: French and Italian as native languages, English and Spanish (fluently), Dutch and Portuguese (not fluently).
This song was written by Serge Lama. He was married, and in love with a married woman. He was willing to leave his wife, she was willing to leave her husban... but then she left to marroco with her husban. And Serge was in despear. So he wrote this song. And the good news is that afterard the woman he loved went back to france and they got married.

She is my favorite female singer. Also please react to my second favorite male singer Dan Vasc. He is also classically trained like Dimash but actually a metal singer. His operatic songs and metal songs are fantastic but his Gethsemane from Jesus Christ superstar is phenomenal performance.
Lara Fabian is one of the idols of Dimash. The song "Je suis malade" - it's the song of Serge Lama, french singer-composer. (But Lara sings it better than Serge).

Ok listen. This is the song’s Serge Lama and she is singing this song when their love with Patrick Fiori was finish. The translate is not really correct, is simply in english.
Something I love about art in general...there is the "intended" meaning behind a creation. And then all the varying ways that people interpret it 😊. The chord that is struck in people will always be slightly different.
But Serge Lama married her finally (and they lived happy it seems). I ve read that she was engaged at the times (the same for Lama) and was afraid to involve more in this affair. At least during 2 years
In the US you got Celine D. Here in the EU we stuck with Lara! In all honesty, for me, Lara is the top performer and top singer. Celine is great but I prefer Lara. She is, to me, the Queen when it comes to emoting with singing (and Dimash has her as a role model). This song is also a reflection of her own suffering at the time (broken heart). I'm glad she stayed true to her vision and did not opt for the additional money the US market could have signified. A good portion of her songs would not have been written or sung the same if produced for the US market. (I'm not mocking the US music industry).
Lol. The US music industry is... I'll go with interesting. And I agree that Lara has mastered the emotional side of singing and performing. Her choices were wise and have served her very well. 🙂
I guess you have never heard the many amazing French albums of Celine Dion. Her album “ D’Eux” is the largest selling album in France history. Celine’s success in Europe is huge. She performed in Hyde Park London in 2019 for 80,000 people. In Paris she performed two nights at Stade de France setting a record for 180,000 in attendance. She was very well known in France at the age of 14 well before ever making in the big in USA. Oh yeah and she won that Eurovision competition way back before she ever had a major hit in the USA.
@@craig889 I'm not debating that. It stays.true that she persued the US market. Besides that, and this is personal preference, I prefer Lara's talent (not just her voice, mind you).
@@Pauloajm15 It’s interesting being a Canadian we’ve known Celine and Lara for so many decades. We’ve had the birds eye view of watching their careers unfold. Even with Lara based in Montreal. Sometimes the European and American media saying things that make Canadians laugh they try so hard to stir the pot.
@@craig889 That is a great insight. I'm mostly looking from the outside as a Portuguese that was always looking at international music, EU sourced or US. Celine was the more famous of the 2 here in Portugal, for sure but it is also true that her exposure to the US market contributed to it a lot. I know that in France, Belgium, etc, Lara held her own..
lara fabian is magic the most important singing of all word
Lara is by far the most captivating singer I have seen perform
This is an old Serge Lama song. Lara more than brought new life to it. This performance always makes me cry.
Nothing to add! Perfect history of that song!
Wow,thank you so much for the full history of the song.
Yes thank you Mr Dimash Qudaibergen. It s a real Lara revival
In fact the song was written by a french male composer and singer who sang it so it's about a man who is the victim...
The composer/singer is called Serge Lama. So you can see him singing this song on TH-cam and also in front of Lara Fabian.
Lara Fabian Caruso bitte. Ich liebe das Lied.💗
Nice analysis!
The emotion in this song swings like a pendulum between "self pity and anger". The delivery is just "brilliant" !
Dimash idolises her. Please react to their song ti amo cosi
Lara Fabian "Caruso" please.
Great reaction.
Love that last part of your comment 😂 Yes we can!
Absolutely true!!!
FeatherStep your analysis of the song is great! You should consider on creating a reaction channel, yourself!

Lara is simply out of this world…
Uff, I agree 100% with this above. Same here.
Gracias por reaccionar a lara fabian. Es realmete conmovedora esta actuacion. Saludos desde España.
It's the greatest rabbit hole in existence!
Yes I forgot to mention that. I agree that J-dub should react to Ti Amo Cosi
Never heard of Dimash but know her for decades. Will give Dimash a listening.
She is an insane good singer and performer that is for sure!!!
@@JDubReacts Wait till you listen to ADAGIO LIVE FROM LARA WITH LOVE, you're going to be blown away.
@@JDubReacts absolutely. And tho not the same I see her influence on Dimash. Lara makes me think of what a young virile Edith Piaf would have been like.
@@pierreraymond5202 And het duet with the French rockstar Johnny Halliday "Requiem pour un fou".
Bellissima interprete bravissima sono soprano canadese vivo in italia
I always forgot to breath listening to Lara Fabian. Words just don't come easily after listening to her. I mean how do we describe emotions in an easy way. Well, you did a great job with that, so thanks!
Great reaction. She is truly an amazing performer who draws you completely in with her.
This may be the singularly best, most artistically perfect performance I have ever seen.
Me encantan sus reacciones.
@@JDubReacts During the song she addresses to him (in this case, in this cover, in the original song it's a man addressing to a woman).
Lara is something else.

Lara lives all her performances! My favourite female singer! ❤️
For the context, this song is a cover of on old song written by serge Lama (who sang it) and Alice Dona in the 70's (big hit in french speaking countries)
Lara Fabian has been very moved by this song and has covered it many times in different versions.
Lara Fabian amazing singer, she wrote a song to dimash 'Your Love'
Hi J dubs : no she's playing a character The song was written in the 70's by Serge Lama and sung by Dalida then. Lara is incarnating the character described in the song as a sad love story. Traditionnal moving French song as they are since Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. Lara really feels the song. As a native French : huge Thanks dear for letting it known for non French speakers/listeners. Much appreciated ! Keep up the good work !
Excellent reaction. Thank you
Dimash loves her she was such an inspiration to him growing up and one of his idols and he actually got to sing with her breath taking and she loves his music
"Je suis malade" was written by a French singer Serge Lama in 1973 - he experienced heartache and wrote this song.

WoW! More!
This is your favorite song of mine thank you so very much for bringing it
Her Caruso is the best I've ever heard
Even she had not created this song but it was in her own emotion soul
Honest and beautiful reaction. Thank you.
just amazing!!!
@@stefanichouinard4413 I stand corrected. Despite not having married, her breakup with Rick Allison was likely just as devastating as a divorce.
this song is a Serge Lama song. Lara performs it like it was her song. real good performance stelar
Beautiful!!! 😊
THis song was co wrtitten by Serge Lama who popularised it but Lare makes a stelar performance emotion and all wow!
*Broken vow
*You're not from here
*Adagio (letra de Lara, musica de Albinoni)
Etc.
* The love of tired Swans
* Know
* Mademoiselle Hyde...
Yep, like others, I would recommend you to check out Ti Amo Cosi sung by Aida-Dimash-Lara, three insanely talented artists.
hi from france. this cult song dates from 1973 sung by serge lama. written by this singer and composed by singer alice dona. for the story, serge lama was dating a girl who for professional reasons went to another country. after 2 years he explains the situation to his friend by saying "i'm sick" alice dona to relax the atmosphere starts singing i'm sick. and serge lama starts writing the sequel in 30 minutes. alice dona will compose the music. he will sing it and the singer dalida will sing it in her turn the same year. lara fabian sings it rather in the dalida version. in the 2000s serge lama will sing in a virtual duet the song with dalida (disappeared in 1988 i think)
"Je t'aime" of Lara Live in Paris is perhaps even better from an emotional standpoint...

Ok listen. This is the song’s Serge Lama and she is singing this song when their love with Patrick Fiori was finish.
The translate is not really correct, is simply in english.
What I read out of this song is a classical narcissist codependant relationship. But I might be wrong.
At least during 2 years
That's what I get from it, too. I can relate way too well, but thankfully, I got out somewhat intact.
