unlike many bands that get lucky to get on a popular record label like Sumerian, its def the other way around here. Sumerian is very lucky to have Circa!
This song always gives me 007 & Mission Impossible vibes. I can't explain it, but the little clean guitar notes during the intro and chorus remind me of spy movies. Is it just me.🤷🏾♂️
Who is still listening in 2021? I am! ALL HAIL #CircaSurvive !!!!!!!!! #GreatestUnderratedBand of ALL TIME!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎸💪🏼#TalentedMusicians ____________
This video adds an entire new level of emotion, feeling, and connection to such an already powerful song. This combination is one I continually come back to. So amazing.
Anthony's voice has matured significantly since his early Saosin days... I can honestly say I like it a lot more now. This band officially transformed from a band that just so happens to be on my iTunes, to a band that I'll actually listen to and enjoy. Mad hype for this album and the future of this band.
This song feels like the culmination of everything they've been working towards for years. Its has the experimental nature of Juturna that the past couple of albums have lacked but it still has that raw heaviness they've been working towards with Blue Sky Noise and Violent Waves. I like it a lot. Good job Circa, I'm excited for this one.
This song is best seen live! loved them when they came to Birmingham academy! the whole room was pumping! get back to the UK guys! this was my favourite song by far on the night! :)
On Letting Go 2.0 has finally arrived after 7 years. BSN and VW were great too, but OLG has a special place in my heart. This album is slowly becoming my fav circa album. And i already heard 3 of their songs! *Schema, Only the Sun, and if you search "Jimi 'Child of the Desert'" You'll listen to the 3rd.*
I know the video is only an animation, but it's so weird how the music and the animation combine to make the song feel like a journey. I'm sure that's what Circa intended with the song title and all. An awesome song to just get absorbed into.
Circa survive are legends they were on every Playlist I've ever had. I pray they all find Jesus Christ. I prayed they will join my team to make beautiful music for eternity for God as he demands MUSIC
This song definitely has an older vibe to it but in a modern Circa tone as well. At first, I thought it was just a mediocre sounding b side off Violent Waves but after a few repetitions I'm digging it. I can't wait to see them this month, it's been so long.
this song makes me cry. my dog passed away in april, and this whole record was playing while she was dying next to me in her final week of being alive. so now I'm trying to listen to it so it doesn't remind me of such a hard time in life
*[Official Album Cover Lyrics]* Break it in half, all the entrances are false All are false and boarded up into themselves Making a noose out of everything you use, You use everyone directly out of sight Will you evaluate my art? It's really surreal how you can listen so many times and swear you hear it right, then again and again and it's different every time. Circa never dissapoints lol
hotandready100 Incorrect. In the official lyrics book that comes with the album, the line is "...evaluate my art". I'm assuming you haven't checked it yet.
So the flames on the visual around 1:29 remind me of Majora's Mask, and with the sphere descending it's kinda like the moon in the game. kinda eerie man.. haha no but it does look a lot like the outline of the mask.
It’s actually Mercury. The shape that the discharge makes coming from the top of the cosmic body forms it’s Alchemical symbol. Metal and Prog. Rock are both very heavily influenced by esotericism; not much goes into production without also being carefully crafted to possess a deeper meaning for the dedicated consumer.
This acts as a breath of life into my life, I wonder if I'll be blown away when Descensus hits me? I honestly cannot wait to hear it all. Amazing video.
i loved schema, the video is so distracting, especially the fatbelly punching parts, whenever i hear that part of the song i see it in my head and laugh, always now...damn it lmfao
Great song, really digging this one. I've been patiently waiting/hoping for Circa to finally take this sort of direction with their sound for a long time. You know, that fusion of ambience, emotion, and eeriness from Juturna/On Letting Go mixed with tastes of new inspiration, which can be seen here. Don't get me wrong, BSN and VW were good and unique in their own ways, but they never left the kind of powerful impression that Juturna and On Letting Go has for almost a decade now (god i feel old haha). Really looking forward to this album.
As well schema as this song are absolutely marvelous and a step in the right direction for the band. They were good before but they have been improving with each album.
That bass guitar though... and of course Circa Survive doesn't have any bad song but it's not something I'd listen every day :) I loved Anthony when he was in Saosin :) It'd be cool if he'd mixed both styles of Saosin and Circa Survive in their new album (screaming and light guitar to be exact... that'd be cool for me. something like in 3:15)
Colin Poole It is better (instrumentally) although I miss Saosin with Anthony and that's may be why I want Circa with Saosin elements :) jigyoda I don't want clear Saosin influences I'd want screamish vocals like Anthony had in Saosin.
John Riddler I know that, I'm not stupid. In a band everyone brings influences. And I just said that I'd want Anthony to do some screamish vocals (like he had in Saosin) so I don't see a problem here I didn't say that they HAVE TO have them but I said that it'd be cool for me.
embie I didn't mean to imply you were stupid bud. Everyone talks about anthony as if he is the only thing. I think Anthony is gonna scream a lot in this record
I will love anything that Circa puts out plain and simple. Always find a way to connect to each song. FUCKIN PUMPED FOR THIS ALBUM. I'm loving the vibe this album has so far with these two songs!
This album, so far seems to be a mixture of On Letting GO and Violent Waves... There's always the people who want the Juturna back. lets just face it that we all are here for the same reason... to hear that sound, comfortable, and familar (regardless of time) song. i will listen to this band for as long as i can stay alive, and i think we all would agree.. Circa rules.
This album was one of they're best in my opinion the creativity is amazing unlike they're last album which I didnt hate but I didn't love it I thought they were on they're way down but this album saved it awsome all around
The first 35 seconds remind me of the hemlock grove opening theme lol. Anyway this grew on me hardcore. Like holy shit, man. I'm forever grateful to have Circa Survive's music in my life.
Both songs are great. I hope this heavy and dark sound holds through the whole album because I'm really enjoying it. I listen to everything they've made and just shuffle it. This will be a nice ingredient to add to the mix.
this speaks to me as more classic circa compared to the other tracks, although im only 5 tracks into this album, if my opinion changes ill come back. digging the entire album overall though!
unlike many bands that get lucky to get on a popular record label like Sumerian, its def the other way around here. Sumerian is very lucky to have Circa!
It's just a one-off though-just this record.
For some reason I thought they moved away from big label with their last album.... They're back now?
motoxracer426 They moved-away from a major label. Despite Sumerian's size, they are still independent.
agreed.
great, now they just need to get Brand New and my life will be set.
This song always gives me 007 & Mission Impossible vibes. I can't explain it, but the little clean guitar notes during the intro and chorus remind me of spy movies. Is it just me.🤷🏾♂️
I've been a circa fan for 6 years, the new album exceeded expectations. Were so lucky to have younger musicians with this amount of heart and soul.
Amen
wow right they killed this album just like all the old ones
Jo, what did you think of The Amulet?
The bass and drum grooves are so good. Ugh I love these rhythms.
shit yeah brother
02:00 awesome!! These next 43 seconds are the best!
Who is still listening in 2021?
I am!

Finally got my safe camp about a month ago. This band is life.
2024 🖤
You guys are alone
Weird to say, but this is my most played Circa song.
This song and album stands out for circa. It's like a noticeable point of maturity for their sound
It's not weird, it's expected by a lover of the genre. This is platinum while everything they do is golden.
Not weird at all, my friend
@@MrXshot the song is fantastic. However, acting as if it is a tier above the rest of their entire catalogue is absolute nonsense. Have fun trolling.
Same is an amazing track 😍
I got so many goosebumps. This sounds more like the old Circa Survive. I love this so much.
This band is entering a new realm of respectability with this record. Welcome to the Dark Side of the Moon, Circa Survive.
3:15 such a musicgasm 😌❤
This video adds an entire new level of emotion, feeling, and connection to such an already powerful song. This combination is one I continually come back to. So amazing.

I just feel so much warmth in this song! No wonder it has the title 'Only the Sun'. Love it!
LIstening to Anthony's music is a separate state of being.
man it can't be healthy how many times i listened to this in the past week
On Letting Go 2.0 has finally arrived after 7 years. BSN and VW were great too, but OLG has a special place in my heart. This album is slowly becoming my fav circa album. I always get goosebumps at 3:10
For sure
The end of the is the best part of the whole album. Anthony singing backup and lead at the same time 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Circa survive are legends they were on every Playlist I've ever had. I pray they all find Jesus Christ. I prayed they will join my team to make beautiful music for eternity for God as he demands MUSIC
holy shit...that build up, and when anthony cries the first "I feel it in the air". Sends chills down my spine.
This song definitely has an older vibe to it but in a modern Circa tone as well. At first, I thought it was just a mediocre sounding b side off Violent Waves but after a few repetitions I'm digging it. I can't wait to see them this month, it's been so long.
Anthony Green is a truly musician the vibes are real - thanks for sharing brother!
this song makes me cry. my dog passed away in april, and this whole record was playing while she was dying next to me in her final week of being alive. so now I'm trying to listen to it so it doesn't remind me of such a hard time in life
I feel a bit of The Mars Volta and Pink Floyd in this song. I just discovered this band, the more I listen, the more I like them🖤
Do you understand how fucking amazing that bass guitar riff in he verses is?! Dude.
*[Official Album Cover Lyrics]*

Buried all on top of energy we create

又
rofl it is antiquated holy fuck.
It's really surreal how you can listen so many times and swear you hear it right, then again and again and it's different every time. Circa never dissapoints lol
He says " Will you evaluate my eye"
hotandready100 Incorrect. In the official lyrics book that comes with the album, the line is "...evaluate my art". I'm assuming you haven't checked it yet.
***** maybe he meant for it to sound that way, who knows AG is a weird guy
favorite off this album
yes bro !!
So the flames on the visual around 1:29 remind me of Majora's Mask, and with the sphere descending it's kinda like the moon in the game. kinda eerie man.. haha no but it does look a lot like the outline of the mask.
Came here to say exactly the same thing.
hahahahahaha
y'all are smoking weed. clearly. lol

This reminds me of old Circa so much!!!. But with a specific type of polish to it. Fuckin fantastic!
Mostly, the difference is with Anthony's developed voice. His range is fucking incredible now.
Circa survive just keeps on getting better and better!!
SOOO stoked for the new CD. Circa is the only band that I've listened to young and old and still love everything they put out.
Same here and bring me the horizon don't care judge me.
mrlitefootable
hell yeah guys
Its not fair for a group ofpeople to be so talented
Ugh I love Anthony Green! Right at 3:15.. I can't get enough
Schema was good, but this is the realest shit. Can't wait for the new album now.
i loved schema, the video is so distracting, especially the fatbelly punching parts, whenever i hear that part of the song i see it in my head and laugh, always now...damn it lmfao
@@Kannerjb711 yes had it playing on my big screen at home and my 6yo was freaking out....he loved the song till he saw the video lol
Yea schema is amazing but this song here hmmm is slightly above it
Did the X-files or X-men intro come to mind at 3:00? Or even 007?
007 :D
007
Yeah! Reminds me of the Spiderman Animated intro from the 90s too
Definitely 007! :D
Skyler Swartz 007 for sure 100%. leave it to Circa to unify our minds
Drum and Bass are so full of Rhythm dancing is encouraged!!!!!!!!
This album is so heavy and emotional, and it's so brilliant and beautiful. Gives me goosebumps every time.
Omg this song sounds so good! A lot like OLG. I'm SOOO glad they went with that producer. He has such a good ear.
Everything about this song is beautiful. Such a great feel.
Monday could not come sooner! I've been wanting to see these guys live since High School!
Omg! I feel the same!! Can't wait
They are amazing live man! you're going to love it.
Great song, really digging this one. I've been patiently waiting/hoping for Circa to finally take this sort of direction with their sound for a long time. As well schema as this song are absolutely marvelous and a step in the right direction for the band.
They were good before but they have been improving with each album.
Man, that ending!! Chills
I don't always listen to Circa Survive, but when I do, I absolutely trip balls.. And go soaring through the fucking heavens
I'm hip!
I just fell in love agh circa survive knows how to capture a heart so very deeply.
that mysterious hook-riff always reminds me of the theme music for The Saint.
That bass guitar though... and of course Circa Survive doesn't have any bad song but it's not something I'd listen every day :) I loved Anthony when he was in Saosin :) It'd be cool if he'd mixed both styles of Saosin and Circa Survive in their new album (screaming and light guitar to be exact... that'd be cool for me. something like in 3:15)
That, and Circa kicks Saosin's ass.
Colin Poole It is better (instrumentally) although I miss Saosin with Anthony and that's may be why I want Circa with Saosin elements :) jigyoda I don't want clear Saosin influences I'd want screamish vocals like Anthony had in Saosin.
anthony is not circa survive, he is part of circa survive
John Riddler I know that, I'm not stupid. In a band everyone brings influences. And I just said that I'd want Anthony to do some screamish vocals (like he had in Saosin) so I don't see a problem here I didn't say that they HAVE TO have them but I said that it'd be cool for me.
embie I didn't mean to imply you were stupid bud. Everyone talks about anthony as if he is the only thing. I think Anthony is gonna scream a lot in this record
I love this song more and more each time I listen to it.
How bout 5 years later
My ears are very blessed to hear masterpieces like this.
Getting a strong Circa Survive vibe from this song!
wonder why
DeadtiredFastasleep Yeah, I think they copied Circa Survive's older material.
I'd hope so.
This is the best thing Circa has put out yet. It keeps getting better. A+ guys. Keep it up.
That guitar lick is chilling/awesome!
I've been a circa fan for years and wow this is one of my favorite song by them definitely. ✔
I will love anything that Circa puts out plain and simple. Always find a way to connect to each song. FUCKIN PUMPED FOR THIS ALBUM. I'm loving the vibe this album has so far with these two songs!
SUCH PERFECTION
Another awesome circa song. Cant wait till the 24th. :)
I can't wait till the 26th :)
I cant wait for the 2nd
29th
12th doe
The ending of this song is just perfect! So amazing! Good job boys!
Love the bass in this song 👌🏻
This song makes me feel like I'm running through a forest of vines searching for a lake that will swallow me
Yes......yes it does :)
I feel that.
My top favorite song out of this album(love the whole thing)
fuck. I can't believe how much awesomeness this band is delivering
2:00 f*** crazy !! amazing
desde 1:25 empieza a cantar de una forma mágica, amo esta canción
Beyond in love with this song, Circa never disappoints me. ♡
The 13 people who disliked this song must be deaf and blind--the music is as badass as the visuals are stimulating.
Finally going to be able to see them on Monday November 17, and I literally am freaking out!!!!
cant stop listening.
Love it. Also love Schema. Listening to them on repeat. Can't wait for the new album.
This made my day so much better. Like wow I'm SO excited for this new album.
been waiting what feels like forever for a new album! can't wait!
This album, so far seems to be a mixture of On Letting GO and Violent Waves... Loved it day one and I cannot stop listening, I cannot wait until the 24th and the 25th!!!
gotta love SumerianRecords:) they work only with cool bands:)
This song is so catchy, one of my favs along with nesting dolls and child of the desert ;)
This album is definitely going to be a purchase for me!
Listened to these guys for a longtime

This is so fucking satisfying on so many levels. I just want to rub this song all over my body and die.
amazing sounds, amazing times, amazing memories!
Such a good song. 3:14. Oof. So good.
The first 35 seconds remind me of the hemlock grove opening theme lol.
Anyway this grew on me hardcore. Like holy shit, man. I'm forever grateful to have Circa Survive's music in my life.
Simply amazing/simplesmente incrível.
i cant stop listening to this song...
Both songs are great. I hope this heavy and dark sound holds through the whole album because I'm really enjoying it. I listen to everything they've made and just shuffle it. This will be a nice ingredient to add to the mix.
Circa Survive is the only experience that can level me.
